It does.. How far out are you? I know the liquid diet after surgery is in my book the hardest! The pre op liquid diet was easier to me. I think because I wanted the "comfort" from food. We put ourselves in this major painful and stressful situation and our comfort was ripped away too! Just know that this stage is hard but it's for a very good reason. It's not a "diet" to lose weight it is so the staple line on your stomach can heal problem free. Hang in there

Most of us that are obese, feel that the foods we consumed have an addictive quality to them. Therefore we are addicted to food. I as a food addict ate to the point of pain. Often spending evenings eating and waiting for the fullness to go away so I could eat some more. Those sessions were always full of guilt but it didn't stop me. It, for the most part just made me feel even worse so I would eat more... As for the guilt after being sleeved? That's a good question, I don't know if I've ever thought about it. I will first say I cannot eat as much to feel the extreme guilt that I felt before. But there is a sense of guilt when I make a poor food choice (like chips). And I still have a bit of a struggle with "wanting" to eat large amounts of food. Not that I do, because I can't! But I still feel that compulsion at night especially to eat. These are all things I work on and others may have to work on too.

Lol a diaper wearing Laura! What a sight! I hope they make slim profile ones, I just lost all this weight and I'm not about to add bulk! My water is is always good everyday I aim for at least 80oz a day it's just something that happens now.. Amanda I had my panels done and almost everything is good but they did find some weird things involving my parathyroids I had a scan and I meet the the endocrinologist in a couple of weeks but I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it... -

I wonder how I would do on roller coasters these days... I haven't been on one since 6 weeks after surgery (went to Disneyland) but I'm dizzy ALL THE TIME now every time I get up these days the room spins. And everything goes black. -

Janice... That last part of her post was something she's trying to put in her "signature" for all posts, I know this because she was trying to do it from her mobile but it came out looking like regular text... Not like my signature at the bottom of my posts. You know the "nothing changes" bit down there below. I told her to fix it because someone would think she was scolding at the end of her post!

Homemade broth is so much better if you can make it or have someone else do it. Oh and some people seem to like the sugar free Popsicles. The fluid is the most important part if you get dehydrated you can end up back in the hospital! Try crystal light, mio drops, poweraid zero or things like warm tea. Plain water is a little hard to drink on the early stages. -
I haven't had any problems.... After I followed all of my stages in the beginning. And was released to all foods everything has been fine. I chose not to eat certain things but I could if I wanted.
