No game replied to Beach Lover's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I just bought a new food scale yesterday (old one kinda sucked) It is "food network" brand and I'm loving it so far Easy to use and read. http://m.kohls.com/product/prd-1058888/food-network-kitchen-scale.jsp -

why do i want to eat....and eat at night?
No game replied to pottergirl's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Same here it was my time to "comfort" myself with food.... It's hard to beat even after 7 months its still a daily battle. But I just keep fighting it and if it gets to bad and I feel I need to give in a plain Greek yogurt with a packet of sweetener and frozen blueberries helps fill the "hole" -

Girl not to get preachy on you but what the f**k were you thinking?? You are not even a month out? Cheddar beer soup sounds like a stomach bomb on a regular stomach let alone a new sleeved one. And a sugar drink? Yeah that stuff would be a recipe for the squirts.... -
Haha I meant 11 other cupcakes! See butter now I have donuts on the brain!

Thanks for the copy and paste! Some of my best work is copy and paste:p You know what sucks I get all these side affects if rabid weight loss...dizzy, loss of hair, etc. But the one thing i dint get is the actual rapid weight loss!!!!

Dizziness seems to be a thing that happens to a lot of us... I've been here long enough to see it as a common problem for people that are past 7 months out and are other wise doing fine. It's not from dehydration (we are well hydrated on the threads I've read) Blood panels are usually fine.... Some may be very low blood pressure but a lot are just stumped for answers.

Hi Olivia. I'm sorry to hear that you are alone are there any others around getting sleeved? I would probably be a little scared too, but tomorrow will be here and done before you know it. Oh and I would call again if the broth doesn't come soon! -

does too much MoM make you hungry?
No game replied to avanti's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My theory? Going into the sixth month brings on a little more hunger for a lot of us the stomach is "relaxing" a bit and the ghrelin production is being produced in slightly higher volumes in other areas of your body. Oh yes by the way never "dis impact" yourself you can cause damage for sure! And veggies don't forget your veggies! -
Yes like my denial of my big ass on the couch right now when I should be moving!! On that note talk later guys!!

I understand the nighttime eating to this day it's the comfort of the night time meals that are still my biggest challenge.. Yes therapy most definitely helps and having open and honest conversations about it with those closes to me. So that when I'm having those feelings I can talk to someone.

Don't get me wrong I don't like getting called fat!! And if a person 12 or 112 called me that I would be hurt! I have a 11 year old boy and a 17 year old daughter and they are feeling thinking human beings in the case of my 11 year old son overly sensitive to others sometimes to the detriment of himself.... By the way both of my children are products of a flawed mother and a public school system. Yes my gripe was with the comment of these mean (i wont say prick) children being products of the public schools...

I thought about that the other day ( a touchy subject so I tread lightly here) If someone comes into this surgery and eats hardly anything how would making the stomach smaller help??? But yet I see it again and again here, people that don't eat much and eat healthy get the surgery and drop huge amounts of weight!! Riddle me this??? Scientific explanations anyone?

The easy part might be over for me
No game replied to NurseGrace's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
That is an awesome amount... If you heard someone else say that they lost that much in almost six months wouldn't you think that was an awesome amount of weight loss! Weight loss is not a consistent thing there will be ebb and flow. Oh and I've never had a honeymoon phase I've fought for every ounce and have been fighting to keep every pound off!
