Even just chicken?!?? Hahaha Chicken can be tough for some in the beginning.. When you are several months out and cleared for all food you can try these things. Quite honestly for the first 3 to 4 months you may have a harder time but when you get further out 6 months or so you will be able to eat EVERYTHING! And that's when the real work starts. Don't rush yourself, enjoy the time off from being able to eat everything and take advantage of your optimal weight loss window

This is a must read! Great insight that a newly sleeved or about to be sleeved person should read and take heed of. -

Two things... Sometimes if someone sees us everyday it may be so gradual that its not noticeable right away. You should talk to him about your feelings he has no way to know how you feel unless you tell him Oh, off subject what support group did you go to? Was it good Sam? -
Yes I'm having some issues too on the app.. I've had to go through the original invite link twice now because I'm being denied access. I just happened again today. I've got a message into Alex and we will see what he has to say about.

Girl she's just going to sell you body wraps... If you want I can come over and grease you up and wrap you in Saran Wrap.... -
I've seen other doctors do the same thing the first week. There have been people here that have the same thing (no protein) so it's not unheard of. I little weird I think though! Did they (the hospital) send discharge instructions home with you? Usually the paperwork will tell you what to do.

Have you tried getting a broth based soup from a take out place (like Chinese) ask for mostly broth and straining everything out? It's more satisfying sometimes.

Quite honestly I'm surprised he didn't care about you not smoking! That is going to make healing a bit of a longer process... As for no pre op diet? There are lots of factors for that. So some people need to others don't. The one thing I will say I know it's hard and I know that the "need" for food at this stage is hard. Hang tough and it will be time before you know it!

Yeah no vomit here...and in beginning I always measured my food and liquid intake. If you don't push the limits the possibility of vomiting becomes less of a factor.

You are doing great! A lot of us did it exactly the same way as you. this is a time to let your stomach heal and you are doing the right thing by following your doctors orders. I know when you see others that get released to food early, either through their doctors or because they just want to, is hard to see But have faith and trust in your plan

Ok got I got kicked out of the group for a minute but I'm back! I'm having trouble working the bugs out here.. Also Leeann has PMed me saying that she signed up earlier this morning and still can't get in? Daisy can you check to see if the owner has to approve new people? Sorry this is my first time with a closed group and I'm still trying to figure it all out!

Sip! really! It can it you hard and make you feverish the first time.. Better to just try a wee bit at first. Have a good night Oh and alcohol will hit harder than before surgery!
-
Girl I don't know how far you are? But if you are far enough to drink just try a sip and let it sit for a long while before you try anymore!
