Are you walking? every hour you are awake you should walk 10 minutes at least even if its just around the house.

The first week is tough no matter how you slice it, Take in small sips, and when your doctor comes in talk to him about it. And get up walk, walk every hour you may not want to but it will help all the gassiness too.

Yeah, my bike is really heavy! So hills are hard.. We have some hills here and you will find me huffing and puffing or walking it up. The beach is my favorite place to ride

Had a rough night.. I woke up today and the first thing I thought was NOT fasting. Then I thought that's a cop out for me and a license to over eat. So it's 12:24 and I will have my first meal soon. It's funny the last two days I really don't want to drink either, do any of you ever get days where you just don't want copious amounts of water?

My internal dialogue today is so negative.. Why are you so fat still? why are you sabotaging your weight loss? If you didn't eat so much and exercised more you wouldn't be so unhappy with yourself. Maybe this is it, maybe you won't really lose much more, maybe you should be happy where you are? why can't you be happy with the way you look/feel now? Even if you lost it "all" would you be happy? Are you ever happy? Why can't I just love myself, my body, Why can't I just feel like I WANT to feel? Happy energetic, free?

Sometimes I wish I could just take a day off, from my head from my new lifestyle, everything. I've not eaten today beside some leftover kale salad (fun) I don't even want to drink my fluids. I just don't feel like it today, lord forbid Laura shouldn't get at least 80oz in.. Lynda I hear you, and I know what you are saying. I do! but it's hard somedays.. I went on a great hike yesterday. Felt great! Strong, Fluid. But then we have today. Funny I just went to the store to buy my "healthy food choices" I'm pouting around the store and I look over and there's a man checking me out (I think anyway) meh... That's great that you think I'm good enough to look at, but that's not what I want! I want to be happy! Happy in my skin without your approval! Ok back to pouting.... To the op, I would say thank you, but I can't, for many reasons. Death happens, it happens in Mexico and the USA, it is a risk we all took getting this surgery, no amount of money or research or coordinating companies can change that. It's important to all having this surgery to know, It is major surgery and comes with all the risks of any major surgery performed on an less than healthy patient. My heart goes out to the family of this man, May he rest in peace.

Do they contribute to this site on a semi regular basis? Do they talk about things in their sleeved life other than their experience with their awesome doctor? and hospital? and coordinating company?
