    Dr. Garcia success story :)

    It's a dance from the 70's
  2. Since I wasted a post here. And can't delete it. I will say it sounds like you are worried about losing to much weight? That, is something I really wouldn't worry about. Most of us aren't rushing to a restaurant to down a cream brûlée to stop the weight from pouring off
  3. I think about it like my pico coral tank, it's 2 gallons of saltwater coral, because of its size, the perimeters are thrown off so easily.. It takes daily checks and tweaks to keep it running smoothly. Our new stomachs are like that now, good nutrition and vitamins for the rest of your life are important, as is the periodic blood tests to monitor your levels.

great news pinky! I like seeing people revisit their posts made during a trying time, and giving an update. And such a happy update too.
  7. Fine you posted twice... All answer twice. Oh, I must say first mind the forum rules, Double posting is a no no Well my first thought on that is remembering a girl a couple of months ago, that came out and said she thought most people here looked better on their "before" pictures... Yeah, she's not here anymore! But really? Yes, if we lose a bunch of weight AND pretty fast as with this surgery, there may be a "sunken" look and thinning hair. But the hair will come back and some skin will shrink back over time. The teeth? I suppose if they were jacked up before they will still be jacked up! This surgery does not turn us into super models. Well except for me. I went to Mexico and paid an extra thousand for that package

  9. Lol, you could spray some cheese whizz in it!
  10. Me snarky??? Dude I was going to tell her to have at it... Dang eat the box! I betcha that **** will slide down real easy!
  11. You know the food funeral thing is a tough one.. When I knew I had a date I went to the store before my pre op and picked up a pint of some kind of ice cream (can't even remember the flavor how sad) went home and ate half of it that night and finished it the next day.. After I ate it?? Nothing, it was just gone it didn't feel special it didn't make me feel better, in fact it did nothing for me except make me feel crappier about myself... Fast forward to today, I can eat normal again so if I wanted a bit of ice cream I could. So I guess what I'm saying is don't sabotage yourself with thoughts of "I need to eat this now because I can never have it again"
  12. Feed that was me too! I think my biggest moment for me was taking my husband to my first consult with the surgeon and weighing myself in front of my husband! It was scary but freeing. And a shock to him because, bless him he never saw me "as that big" and thought I didn't need surgery. It's funny it's almost a NSV... Letting him see, no he knows my number daily and is my biggest cheerleader
  13. Hold on......I'm "friending" you right now so I don't miss out!
  14. Lol no! I was talking about the naked guy wearing the red tie up there!!
