would you date someone who is perhaps less active then you?`
No game replied to CowgirlJane's topic in The Gals' Room
Would I date someone less active than me? In a word NO... Because that would mean that he was practically dead, because I'm not very athletic But really... The person you described? I would say no also. It's not just that you said he's not very active, he sounds like he likes his over indulgence of food and drink. I would not do well with a man that was complacent with his fitness and diet. I think the complacency is exhibited by the comment about well its you that "likes to move" Eek! i would have the same worries (for very good reasons) as you! Now don't get me wrong this might work for some. But for me gaining weight is is getting to complacent and an Oreo away. I see it on a much smaller scale (hehe scale) when I hang out with my friend and her family, They are rather large and LOVE good food and drink, it's hard not to get caught up in the festive abandon that happens during meals (yes even sleeved) I could not invite that into my life daily, I would lose my focus, because at the end of the day I still struggle with food and diet and I need all the cards stacked in my favor. So my answer is no. -
Hehehe....I like her style

OMG! I'm in love with Jodi foster!! I know weird but I've loved her since the movie "the little girl who lives down the lane" (I'm old ) How was Elysium? My daughter and I loved district 9.. And yes M2G, when I'm lying awake I think about everything!

Chimera, How long have you been doing the 16/8 schedule? I think it's a great concept. The "resting" hours in the 5:2 plan, in my opinion are more important than sticking the 500 calories.. But wow, I don't know if I could do that everyday though!

Girl, cheat! cheat away, but make it with a piece of cake or something. I hate to see you putting an unnecessary drug in your body.. It's a special occasion, these happen sometimes. You know I'm up with the chickens today because I couldn't sleep.. In the flood of random thoughts that kept me awake, one was about the holidays. A little early I know, but hey. Well I was thinking how am I going to handle all the good food. I started thinking that I will try not to stress about it but I will fill myself with protein first at any given occasion, then after I will give myself permission to taste the goodness of treats here and there. I hope your cast has loosened up today!

If you type "Garcia" into the search box you will get enough reading to keep you busy for hours.

I tell my husband I can never move to far away for the beach, I need it for medicinal reasons. Good luck on Monday. Just remember deep cleansing breaths...

Yeah the outpatient thing weirds some people out.. But I know some vets (and newer) people here loved him... (Umbach) The Texas Dr? Yes he has a LOT of followers here if you do a search there are pages. 13 a day?? That's a lot yes... I can tell you when I had my surgery my surgeon ran hours late for me into the early evening. Because of a complicated surgery on a super obese woman with health issues before me. I would be lying by saying I wasn't a bit concerned about fatigue... I was like "you know I can come back tomorrow" I lived..

Good stuff Amanda I wondered that since he's in Las Vegas..

You can just buy Campbell's cream of chicken or mushroom and so on, they make them in the fat free also! Make sure to stain them

My wagon has gotten a flat tire more than once girlie! Vacations they are hard to rebound from sometimes! the last one took me a good week (or two) of beating back cravings. Ok the most important thing I see here is the SNEAKY eater! That was (is) me, how I deal. With it now is talk about it. I throw a bright light on it by telling my husband that the behavior is creeping up again when it does... I don't know just telling someone helps, he never thought this surgery would work for me because ad he said "But Laura you never eat" honesty to him has been very freeing...

There is no way I could of taken care of anybody but myself a week out! So I wouldn't count on his help to much....But the good news is that I was able to take care of myself right after surgery.. So the best thing you can do is set yourself up For an easier time by making sure before surgery that you have everything you need at home already. I mean everything and a big variety of all liquids because you never know what will and won't work.
