    Fish

Not sure if you have a trader joes around? But they have a great selection of fresh frozen fish... Tilapia is always a good choice of a mild fish and easy to prepare. Parmesan-Crusted Tilapia ingredients 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese 2 teaspoons paprika 1 tablespoon chopped flat-leaf parsley 4 tilapia fillets (about 1 pound total) 1 lemon, cut into wedges directions Preheat the oven to 400 degrees . In a shallow dish, combine the cheese with the paprika and parsley and season with salt and pepper. Drizzle the fish with olive oil and dredge in the cheese mixture. Place on a foil-lined baking sheet and bake until the fish is opaque in the thickest part, 10 to 12 minutes. Serve the fish with the lemon wedges. Of course you can cut this recipe in half (I have kids and a husband)
  5. Yes great article and a MUST READ for everyone.

  10. This is a must read for everyone. Vets, yes but more importantly, the newbies! These are things we all learned (or are learning the hard way) so read up newly sleeved people.
  11. Mine did too. I really think that if any of you reading this are pre op or newly sleeved asking your surgeon about this prescription can save you a lot of pain trouble and money in the future.
  12. Great loss Georgia! I'm not even going to stand in the same room with my scale today after the day I had yesterday

You're at goal right? Sorry, I know your not feeling well just now but my tired brain is running a mile a minute this morning

How was your 5:2 day today?

Wow that sounds good! I wished I lived closer to you I'd be stopping by on a regular basis My day at the beach included some bites of fresh baked, hot, garlic artichoke bread from Pescadero some wine and two cookies... Oh and some potato chips! Wow now that I'm writing it all out? It sounds even worse! I might need to wire my jaw shut to tame the carb monster tomorrow.

  19. Thinking of you, I hope your surgery went well.
  20. I think that being sleevers we just have to make certain concessions...I stop eating the night before at 7 and take my first "fast" meal at lunch time. Then snack at some point and dinner again before 7. Then the next day not eating usually until late morning or lunch time again. Yesterday I "saved" up most of my calories because I wasn't to hungry. Well having that many calories for me at one meal was impossible, because its straight Protein and veg. I would have to eat something that might not be as "healthy" ? So I think spreading those calories through out that 7 hour window is just going to have to work.
