Insurance most likely will only cover a panniculectomy not a tummy tuck if your insurance covers anything that is... I would start with your pcp because you would need a "reason" it have it done (not just cosmetic) like continuous rashes/ yeast infections..

Mine was close on both too... In the 1400's on both. TDEE 1710... I think this really doesn't apply to us as formerly obese people the article that FYE posted a couple of days ago explains some of it I believe. -
I wonder if they are going to get something out of Jesse?? I really don't want the series to end!

Lol swizzly! Yep slow here too but feeling better so that counts for a lot! Daisy, I know you will feel better once your able to work out again! Georgia, yep that's why I like a big ole bowl of veggies with my protein! Ok 7pm finishing the day at 582 I had an a salad tonight with Protein of course. But I usually eat it "dry" I was feeling dangerous tonight so I put some dressing on it I went mountain biking today so I actually burned some calories on a fast day

Just order sashimi! It's just the raw fish no rice, no roll, you can still dip it into wasabi and soy. Yummy! Once you've tasted a great piece of fresh salmon you'll never go back to the rolls!

Haha! I remember before surgery I told my nut that I will never do the purée stage that my doctor had in his progression guidelines! "I will just stay with shakes malt o meal and such" I said! First day I was allowed "real" food albeit blended? I was a blending fool! chicken and gravy! Meatloaf gravy and watery mashed potatoes! I ate it and I LOVED it -
Thanks sarsar! I will stretch, I told my husband I was getting sore already and he just giggled like a little girl...

I kinda wish bad foods made me sick..
No game replied to JessicaAnn's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes Jessica, I kinda wished they made me sick too. I often joke here that I was ripped off because I didn't get the automatic shut of valve with the eject button. But there is a seriousness behind that joke. I know that for the rest of my life I have to be extra careful and exercise self control. Moderation works for some (I think) but I am a binger and certain feelings and foods tigger it still. So I'm with butter on this one. Staying away from certain foods is best for me... -
Hi girls. Oregon even when you get the cast off no gym?? Well it's 2:40 pm and I'm just now having my first meal of Greek yogurt and blueberries. So far so good today. My weight has not been great the last week I just can not get into the 150's and stay there! Up and down, up and down! Fingers crossed that something good happens this week though. FYE I have never taken measurements. I should but then again it might just give me more numbers to fixate on.....
-
Thanks guys! I had to take a well deserved yogurt break just now I actually had fun. And I already set up a "date" with my husband to do it again next week! I felt guilty at first because he does hard core single track mountain biking. So I thought he would be bored to tears doing it with me. But we had a good time. I'm still learning the gears and my legs feel like jelly but I feel like I did something big! Oh and butter yes padded shorts are in my future

OMG! Skinniness! Can I borrow your scale?? I can use some good news... Even if you stay down half of that it would be an awesome accomplishment!
-
Good for you globe! I really need to do some strength training myself! Oregondaisy! I love babies! (And roasted chicken) Cathy, yes the weekend was a food fest and I'm feeling the after affects today! I'm fasting today and it should be interesting my stomach is already awake and wants food! I'm going mountain biking this morning with my husband so food will have to wait until later. I know some of you girls like to workout on a empty stomach. I find it psychologically hard! Like I feel I'm weakened Food... food...food... It's always food!

Difficult question to ask.
No game replied to MinnesotaDreaming52's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Ummm... Do you mean going to the bathroom as in a bowel movement? I would think the exact opposite is true.. It is more likely that you will have digestive problems with the bypass, like dumping and such. -
So many people here have skinny faces!

Can you see any difference?
No game replied to Sleevin'It's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Lol I know the feeling! I look in the mirror and see the same ole me too! And in a sense we are just a smaller package of the "same ole me" You look beautiful and a lot smaller! Look at those pictures and for just a second look at them as if they were someone else here... Do you see the differences? I'm sure you do -
