  1. This is the difference with surgery in the states and in Mexico. In the states this would all be documented. Investigated by both the hospital and the state.
  2. For gods sake stop! She's dead! The fact of the matter is the doctor is saying one thing and the family is saying quite another.. Those are the facts as we know them. The family spokes person asked me to print the truth here.... But there are two very different "truths".. That's where we are at. Jesser, Yes originally she was going with an other surgeon, but the family and the doctor have two different stories as to why she switched too.

    Hunger

Ha! I was just sitting here contemplating hunger... I've been think about "true" hunger since yesterday and what that means and feels like. So this morning I asked a naturally thin person (My husband) I explained my confusion on this. I don't know what hunger is/was? I think I'm not as hungry as before, but quite honestly before I don't think I ate most of the time out of this thing called hunger... "So what does hunger feel like to you?" I ask what are your "signals" he tells me "my head, I get a signal in my brain that says you need to eat, your body is in need of food" ???? Not a empty feeling? Not weak?? No! a brain signal! He tells me "right now I'm not hungry at all I'm not thinking about food it hasn't even come up in my brain since I've been awake" Well f**k! I tell him "your brain?" My brain is always telling me to eat! I wake up in the middle of the night thinking about food. When I woke up this morning my second thought was food... To this he says "well there's the problem, your brain signals are broken" ... Hunger? What is it? Good question, I think it is so many different things for different people.
  5. I'll tell you what you did wrong. You should eat yogurt that is sugar free first off. Second if you ate something that disagreed with you, the last thing you should do is eat MORE food to chase it with, and peanut butter? Fat (and sugar) would just make dumping worse. Ditto with the cheese.

    Long term prognosis

I feel hunger yes not as much, I think after a while at least for me, I have a hard time comparing hungry from before and now.. Because honestly I ate. I ate a lot, and it had nothing to do with hunger. I just read this tidbit.. It's so interesting all of the conflicting info! By the way I believe you can stretch your stomach. Maybe not all the way, but enough to get you in trouble. I think at one point this article says its ok to have sweets sometimes just don't stuff yourself with anything! This is my problem I always ate until it was uncomfortable... And pain means nothing to me. http://www.obesitycoverage.com/weight-loss-surgeries/gastric-sleeve/gastric-sleeve-will-my-stomach-stretch

I guess all I can say is I don't plan on being a statistic.... Ummm unless its one I agree with I do find it interesting to read though, what the bariatric community is saying about the procedure in studies and at bariatric conferences.
