Green watery diarrhea is also a sign of a Clostridium difficile infection. c.diff is frequently picked up in hospital settings. a simple antigen test on the stool will determine if you have it or not. it is treatable. jc (medical technologistII, ASCP

Hi everyone! This is a great site!! I'm new, of course, so here's my story. Had my band put in July 31,2007. A week later, my appendix ruptured. Finally was able to get my first fill in October 2007. Had 6-7 fills in the subsequent months until i was at 3.5cc ( Was told I had a 4cc ban). I had no weight loss, even after hiring a personal trainer 3 days of week and doing cardio 5 days a week! I finally insisted that something wasn't right, then, during my last fill, the np noticed a dot in my port. She said that indicated a 10cc band. I pulled out my 4cc card that was given to me by the band surgeon, and the mystery began. She put 2.5cc in (total 6cc) and sure enough, we knew if was a 10cc band. I confirmed this with the surgeon the next day. I'm definately feeling restriction now and hoping the weight comes off now. It was a rough start but now i hope i'm on my way. jc Start weight==350

Thanks Carlene for answering. I'm not concerned about me, just read it somewhere on this site and it just got me thinking.

Thanks Areellady, yes it was 2006. I decided to go to the doctor that took my appy out (yes he does lap bands part time, and trauma surgery part time). His office was so much more professional than the place that put my band in. I take the blame as i should have demanded my med recs be sent to my fill doc. I tried once, but apparently it was never done. i relied on the card the surgeon gave me. Now my records are with my fill doc. Thanks for all your support!! jc
