Hey, I am a teacher in Tennessee. I am having my surgery Dec. 14th and then taking the next week off before our break begins. My daughter, who is also a teacher, is having her surgery on Dec. 21st. We are both very excited!!!
I am on my 11th day of liquid protein and I am really, really sick. I keep having the feeling like I'm going to pass out. I am waiting for my surgeons office to open to see what I should do (go see them or just go see my primary doctor). Has anyone else experienced anything like this while on the liquid protein diet? Could it be my blood sugar?
I have found that so far the Unjury Chicken Broth is the only one I can drink consistently. I add a little garlic salt to it and it is not bad. I have not found any others that I can even stomach. I have been drinking Slim Fast Low Sugar (20g protein and 4 carbs). I am not getting all of my protein in each day but I am trying my best. My program wants you to get in 100g of protein each day and I feel like that is almost impossible for me .
I love that thought ! I am also on my second day of a high-protein liquid diet and my surgery is also on December 14th. I am struggling to get all of my protein in, as I cannot hardly stomach the protein. I think I need to slow down when drinking it but it taste so horrible I just want to get it down. How many grams of protein are you required to get in each day? Best of luck with your skinny future :D .
