I can't deal with this stall anymore
DeeDeeG replied to cygnusatratus's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I didn't even finish reading your post before responding. Stop getting on the scale. The Sleeve is a tool that you will use from now on. We all have stalls, I've lost 35 pounds total in 21/2 months. Things will turn around as long as you follow the plan. Don't talk yourself into being unhappy with your sleeve. It will work for you as long as you work with it. You didn't gain all your weight in 3 or 4 months and you're not going to loose it in that amount Of time either. Good things will happen soon..... And make sure you post when it does! -

Did you have trouble laying flat after surgery?
DeeDeeG replied to lucky8mb1's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It took me 2 or 3 weeks to lay flat. Laying down made me feel like i was drowning. However every couple of day i could lay a bit lower. 5 weeks out and back to normal. Good luck! -
I guess you have to learn the hard way..

Boost may have to much sugar in it as well. I know my dietician told me no more than 8g of sugar at a time. She said it would produce a dumping like feeling that you're describing. -

gained 3 pounds...very discouraged
DeeDeeG replied to Kristi64's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Gaining is ok because it tells you that you're not giving your body what it needs. Try some protein and more water. You may even need to up your calories. Same thing happen to me, two days after my protein increase I lost 3 pounds. Try something different it what your doing isn't working. The weight will come off. -
I take Biotin everyday to prevent hair loss.

October Sleevers-How Ya Doin?
DeeDeeG replied to Holly5.3's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hello everyone... I was sleeved Oct 29th. Things are going pretty good. Surgery weight 248, current weight 222. Things have really slowed down for me, I've been 222 for two weeks. I think my metabolism has stopped because of my protein intake or lack there of. So today I started back on the Atkins shakes. Hopefully things start moving in the right direction again. I hope things are positive for the most part with everyone else as well. Keep posting, it's become a great way to end the day for me!
