What are some things that you wish you would have known before you got sleeved?

I will be 4 weeks post op Monday. My stomach still makes noises to. Sometimes it's funny to see other people reactions when they hear it. I wish I had of know I would stall so early at week two. It very discouraging. And that it would last so long. Two weeks to be exact. I had ice chips a few hours after surgery. Good luck to you. -

I get discourage becAuse I thought my loss would be faster than this. Considering we r eating very little. I hope we all start losing soon. Together we can help one another. -

Charmin I had surgery on the 11 to. I had lost 14 pounds. But the last two weeks I haven't lost a pound. I'm also discouraged because I eat very little. But get lots of water in. I'm afraid I'm going to fail. -
I'm 23 days out and it does get better. I do miss the comfort food gave me. And like you I do feel hungry at times. It feel like real hungry not head hungry.

I am three weeks out yesterday. And haven't lost since last Monday. Most everyone says its normal. But it does get frustrating. Good luck to you. -

I'm twelve days out and felt all the things you felt. I was scared of missing my relationship with food. But instead I hardly even think about food. For the first time since I can remember. I wish you luck. -
Today I'm ten days post op. been feel great. Each day has gotten easier. Until today I woke up and I have pain in my left side and that side of my stomach. Haven't had this pain before. Is this normal?

I'm six days out and my chest still hurts if I drink to fast or to much. Or taking a deep breath. But it is getting better day by day as I learn how much I can tolerate. Hope it gets better for you to. Happy losing!!! -
Has anyone else had problems with diahrre since surgery? For four days now I have had it. A little embarrasse to post it here. Take immodium but it doesn't help. Is this normal?

Congrats on the weight loss!!!!!! I feel the same way as you do I never have like getting my picture taken. I'm only 5 day post op. I hope one day I be glad to be taking a picture.

I had surgery on Monday also. Very hard to get all the Water and the Protein in. I do keep water with me at all times and sip sip and more sipping. Reading other posts I know it will get easier for us. Good luck.

I don't talk to my husband or friends about it because I know they wouldn't understands. They have been great this week. But something's only fellow sleevers understand.
