Im in preop diet too. I know post op has to be better because we won't physically be able to eat more. Right now, our stomachs are the same size and hunger is really my biggest issues. It will get easier! We just have to remember why we are doing this. -

Im on the 17th and im on my liquid diet too. Its very difficult. I never realized how many food commercials came on. I would go to the movies but just the thought of not having anything to eat there is killing me. :-( -

I know it will be. Its just getting past this point that is difficult. But i have lost 10 pounds. Bright side to everything. :-) -

I added vanilla extract to my shakes. I also have strawberry extract. It helps a LOT.

I'm just a few days before you, so I'll post and let you know how things went...lol.. I would think squats and lunges wouldn't be comfortable on the abs for us for a while.

Thats good! I wonder how I will feel 3 days post op. I'll be staying with my mom a few states away from my home, so I won't be anywhere near my gym. While I'm staying with her about a week after surgery, I will walk her neighborhood. I should be home around day 6 and would like to walk the treatmill regularly. Hopefully, I;ll be just like you on my day 3...

My DOS is Dec 17! :-) I start my liquid diet on the 10th. The day of my office christmas party.. Oh the torture..

I can taste it too. Anything I add it to has that "unjury" flavor afterwards. Its not horrible, but not that good either. My DOS is December 17!! :) -

Alamoloser, i will definitely see how i feel, but i enjoy being active. It helps me feel better usually, when im recovering.

Milz, I had a trainer before and loved the results. It helped me to have someone make sure my form was correct and also push me to do just a little bit more. How are you feeling at three weeks out? How's the losing going?

I had that happen just a few weeks ago. They called me in to have a second one done before they cleared me for my surgery on 12/17. Wait for the second set of tests to see what they say.Keep positive thoughts! -
