I was lucky found great doctors and the surgeon had everybody in house! Weight loss, psych, nutrition, exercise it was great and well worth it. He was a center of excellence. -
ISP pure great stuff still use it after the gym if you make it on the thin side really no taste if you make it thick a little but I love it waiting to try the java stuff myself!

How long was everyone out of work?
fazekasr replied to rredrruby87's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was off for 9 days total only missed 4 days of work because of shift work left the hospital with no restrictions. My doctor told me if no complications he only gives 10 days out for any of his wls surgery s. I would suggest to start walking and moving a lot more it helps the healing. Good luck on your journey. -

You look great. I guess I am reverse I need to get my protein in or I feel like yuck. I have been going to the gym 2-3 times a week and that has helped with the skin issue mine is also in the front -
Lots of little sips and do not forget the protein. Don't forget to start walking around it will get better.

Thank you all for posting. Now I wish some men would post if they had these surgeries down would be really helpful, in making my decision on what to do next. It would be a year in November and have lost a total of 150 lbs since I started this journey. Thank you ladies again and sending positive thoughts your way. -

I work shift work so I still usually have a shake everyday just to feel confident I get my Protein in. Best of luck will let you know how the iso pure tastes -
How did you handle donating your oversized clothes? Did fear of weight regain rear its ugly head?

I cleaned out my closet 3 months ago filled 4 black garbage bags and then let them sit in the garage. Finally gave them to someone I work with For their son and he himself has a large family so he only gets close for his kids and spend very little on himself there many new shirts and pants so hopefully he'll be extremely appreciative of them. It made me feel good because his mother who I work with is always very supportive of my journey.
