Just wondering how tall you are my doctor has yet to give me a goal with my vsg but I have been at 218 - 220 for about 1 and a half months and I feel great. Just trying to get an idea for ideal weight. -
looking for a 6'0+ somewhere around 300-350 lbs who is on this journey!

I forgot I was up walking within a few hours post op. I felt like I got punched in my stomach, I had no drain and was home the next day. Back to work in a week. -

I drank unsure zero carb vanilla wafer, the clear liquid I drank ready to drink iso-pure, I will suggest to try to get samples. My doctors had sample packs for a couple dollars each. Everyone likes something that someone else doesn't. -

Started my journey in oct 31 2011 363 lbs, mid October 2012 333, nov 6th 2012 day of surgery 305 today 223. 2 week preop liquid diet and 1 week Clear Liquids and then 3 weeks full liquids and then soft foods now about 1/2 cup food any type of Protein first and still Protein shake daily. Highest size 50-52 now 38. Doctor still has not told me ideal weight yet but going to gym to try to keep upper body muscle. You can do it good luck. -
I started at a tight 50 and now can wear 38s that fit good luckily I have uniforms at work and going to a 38 next lost approx 80lbs since nov 2012 starting to see definition in arms but I do definitely need to lift more good luck.

Depending on insurance. I had a six month diet I had to do then all the other classes ( nutritionist, psychologist) once that was done I think it took no longer then a month and then I pushed mine off a little further due to being nervous but since then well worth it. I was 332 2 weeks pre-op, 305 day off now on march 16 2013 232 well worth the wait good luck

My surgery was nov 6th and it has been so worth it since day of surgery almost 70 lbs down just listen to the doc and you will be fine I also was on a liquid diet 2 weeks prior and 4 weeks after. Good luck you can do it -

Hey everybody down to 235 now from two week preop visit of 330 almost 100 pounds down feeling great. How are you all doing? -
Cut off my first parts but this is what I take daily and my hair and fingernails growing like mad. Hope all starts to change for you all and good luck on the journey.

Take 2 flinstone tcomplete, 3 Calcium chewable tablets,a chewable Iron, and 2 b-12 sublingual. Hope all goes well and starts to reverse.

Happy 3 months everyone. Hope everyone had a great Valentines Day. 3 month visit at doctors today from day of surgery 305 to now 243 a total of 62 lbs feel great doc thinks I will be closer to the 200 mark hope all is well -

Hope everyone is doing ok. Went to the doctors for my visit with the nutritionist and am down to 260. Also I can eat more then soft stuff now. Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season -

Soft foods also as he said processed meats for about 2 to 3 weeks then appt with nutritionist. Down to about 270 now. -

Glad everybody is doing better. Nausea may be from pain meds when you start walking it will get better.

Ok first doc appt after surgery so I will post some numbers here goes Oct 30 2011-- 359 2weeks prior to nov 6 th--- 331 Day of nov 6th--- 307 10 days after ( today) 288 So far so good still on liquids for 2 more weeks Have a great day all. -
