I have struggled with weight my whole life. Raised by a super critical mother who always commented negatively on my weight, I have been on every diet imaginable. After being diagnosed with high blood pressure, I was able to lose 40 lbs with Medifast, but sadly did not deal with the emotional issues. Doing the work with the emotional issues over the last 6 months has brought me to a much healthier place. I was diagnosed with Insulin resistance syndrome over a year ago. Found out a co-worker had VSG and that it was covered by insurance, so I did the research and decided this was for me. Started the process in the beginning of October and was sleeved November 20, 2012. This is a lifestyle change and having my sleeve tool is just was I need to ensure success.
