Welcome... I was sleeved with Dr. Billing Oct 15, 2012 @ PSSC. Loved it, just recently had an appointment and was able to see Dr. Billing, he was amazed at my progress - so that felt great. I couldn't ask for a better place to have such a life changing surgery at.

So I was sleeved Oct 15th and I have been good with eating but recently I have found I haven't been able to eat as much as I could before. I also have been having a hard time eating too fast.... and then I get uncomfortable. Any suggestions would help.... :-)

So I guess I just need to learn to eat slower.... and reheat!
-
I'm sorry no.... not worried about eating less than before surgery. I'm talking about not eating really anything anymore. I've been trying to eat slower but everything gets cold before I can even eat a couple bites.... its just been really hard to try and eat slow.

I live in Everett. I was sleeved Oct 15 by Dr. Billing. I have been having difficulty getting enough protein and fluids. I seem to only be able to sip still. Anyone have any suggestions?? -
I am 3 weeks post op and on soft foods. Some days I feel like eating is no problem but today it's been hard to eat. I could take one bite of egg salad and feel full almost like my stomach is a little sour. Any thoughts?

I was sleeved on Oct 15 too. I'm on soft foods til next Wednesday. I'm having a hard time getting my fluids and really need some ideas about protein I can't stand the powder or shakes I've tried!! Was out 3 weeks of work and super glad I tried going back at 2 weeks but I felt horrible. I'm feeling good not tired not sore really anymore. Can't wait to eat normal everyday food! Down 26 lbs last week.. stopped weighing and now I just measure myself.

I had my sleeve done Oct 15th, still struggling getting enough fluid and protein. I am having a hard time with the taste of the protein shakes, I can't stand them and I'm currently on the soft mechanical foods right now, I just don't have an urge to eat. Any helpful suggestions for fluid intake and protein intake? -

I am wondering if anyone has any ideas for getting enough Protein. I can't stand any Protein drinks, they make me want to vomit. I am 2-1/2 weeks post op. Trying to drink milk, and now eating some cheese, Beans. Any suggestions would help. Also needing help with getting enough liquids in. This whole sipping the Water is really hard to get 64 ounces in during the day. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
