Breast lift only - how long should I wait?
mariamitani replied to Jenny12's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
If you plan on having children in the future I would wait till after thats all done because getting pregnant can mess them up. If your all done I would wait till you get to goal because you want them as firm and lifted as possible. Also You wanna make sure all the access skin gets removed. Congrats your almost there -

asking a crazy?
mariamitani replied to Mastiff_mama's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You need to find a low calorie drink that you like and drink it up! I use Low calorie Gatorade it comes in allot of flavors so you don't get bored. I would try to take 25 mg of sennosides. You can take 2 pills for max relief. I would separate them though 1 in the morning 1 at night because it can cause cramping. I tried dulcolax and milk of magnesium they didnt work. I also didnt have a feeling or urge to go I just went to go number one and KABAM next thing you know I was going. Sorry for too much info but with this surgery this is almost all I think about :)Good luck with the kidney stones -

I also had severs gastritis and was put on a corse of omapreazole for 8 weeks after a week I felt better and continued it for another week then stopped. I feel so much better. You can buy omaprazole over the counter. Good luck and I hope you feel better -
I finally did it! I"M 199.4 as of this morning SO happy. Turns out I was badly constipated that's why I wasn't loosing anything for week and a half.I took milk of magnesium one day nothing happened, next day 3 stool softeners. 3rd day two 25 mg exlax sennosides. I went to the bathroom like 7 times! My stomach feels much better and I have hit ONEDERLAND. Still cant believe I'm in the hundreds , this is gonna take a while to sink in. Last time I was in the hundreds was probably 15 years ago! Awesome Im so happy I had this surgery. Best decision I ever made Keep going everyday and don't give up! the scale will be defeated! LOL

According to my doc I'm suppose to eat 800 calories a day till I reach goal and 1200 max to maintain once I get there.I have 50 pounds to goal. I don't see a combination of exercise and 800 calories a day working for me. When I exercise I like to do intense exercises like p90x or 1 hour on the treadmill but after surgery I have not exercised partly due to time and fear of fainting because I feel weak or lightheaded. I do move around allot more then before. What do you do? How many calories a day and how much exercise? Are you comfortable or tired? I have three young kids to take care of so I need energy/calories to get through my day I just joined an awesome gym so I'm pumped up but not sure about the calories I was thinking of increasing to 1000 on the days I exercise. any other thoughts would be appreciated Thanks

Should i weigh myself
mariamitani replied to msslechix's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
In the beginning of my surgery I weighed like a mad women everyday! But it drove me nuts! So I weight in once a week only , measure every 1st of the month and take pics every 2 months in the same out fit That way if the scale dosnt go down then I have the measurements to fall back on:) -
