    I keep fainting.

I experienced the same thing very scary, I still have it every now and then but not as severe . I am 5 months post and it is usually my sign that I need to up my fluids. It was very bad in the first month. Try to get all and if you can more than your liquid amount in daily. When you stand up do it very slowly this gives your heart time to change your blood pressure to accomidate the pressure of gravity on your blood flow. When I feel tierd and faint I first sit straight up(not leaned back) stand keeping my upper part of my body bent wait a few second then slowly bring my upper body to an upright position sometimes it works better than others. If you are too dizzy and faint lye straight flat down and drink at least 20 ounces of liquid then try in an hour to stand again. I remember when I went through this very difficult.Good luck , and I hope time passes quickly and you get back to normal it takes time But you can do this! Stay Strong and drink drink drink.

    In need of food help

I combine vegetables with my protein. example wrap turkey in lettuce leaves add tomatoes if you like it. 2 oz fish, chicken or beef strips with a 1/2 cup salad. Hummos chick pea dip with chicken and a little salad is good. Measure 2 oz of protein add 2 oz of vegtables. half half. You can also have any piece of fruit as a snack, apples ,cherries, watermelon.Having a food scale really helps :)for constipation I increase fluids and use myralax or milk of magnesium for constipation. lately I have been eating 2 fiber one brownies to get things moving. I put them in the freezer they taste better. Good luck
  4. Today is my 5 month surgiversary. I have lost 86 pounds and over 67 inches total. Today is the first day I exercised. It felt great. I do move allot more now then before but actual exercise today was my first! 1 hour in the gym 30 minutes weights 35 minutes treadmill. I'm 2 pounds away from ONEDERLAND So excited about next weeks weigh in. I'm truly lucky and so grateful I researched like a maniac to find the right surgery for me and chose the sleeve :)I also went to a family barbecue yesterday and weighed less than my cousins that are younger than me! WOHOO they are 14 years olds lol It felt great, prior to loosing I was always the biggest! Good luck to everyone and if you fall off which I have(maybe 2 times) get your butt up and get right back on because there's no turning back! Love the sleeve

    Explaining your weight loss

I tell people I had the surgery and explain the actual surgery. Everyone thinks lapband is the only surgery out there or bypass. I like to tell people because I want other people that are overweight to be open to it and get a chance to change their lives. Even if the person is thin they might have a brother or sister that is overweight. Each person is different you may not want to share that with them if they are not close to you and theres nothing wrong with that. People that were crapy to me prior to losing I tell them that I exercise 5 times a week and eat healthy

    Smart water

I just poted this in another post I think it will help: The key is sip then wait a few seconds then sip ,wait, sip wait. If you stay on it you should be able to get 4 ounces in 15 minutes. Thats 16 ounces in 1 hour. So it should take about 4 hours. When I woke up in the morning I would take out all the fluids I had to drink for the day and put them next to me with a pen and pad. It took all day but I got it in. When I didn't I was dizzy felt faint tired and sick(it was very scary, got hospitalized once because of it). Till today when I'm low on fluids I get dizzy and lightheaded when standing. Its difficult in the beginning But these few month will shape the way you eat drink for the rest of your life. liquid is a very crucial part of having this surgery. So, find a way to make it work. Stay strong and baby steps you can do this

    ???? Help

If its not in the house I wont think about it or want it. I keep fiber one brownies in the freezer for when I am in the mood for chocolate. You need to blog every thing you eat. It forces you to see your mistakes and fix them every single day! Keep your calories around 6-800 calories. 70 grams of protein. 64 ounces water.exercise. Stay strong.

  12. I weight my self every Sunday Last Sunday I was 205 pounds. This Sunday I will weight again and am dreaming of the scale reading 199! I started this path at 288. My highest weight was 300. (Depression and sadness can really kill you) At 12 I weighed 230 and was able to wear my fathers pant that were a size 38! Today I'm so exited and ecstatic that I'm gonna be in Onederland and it is real! I no longer feel bad about my self or am self consious when a thin person passes by. I love my sleeve and am so lucky to have finally found the greatest awesomest(is that a word?) tool in the world to help me be healthy and happy with my self. I now feel like a woman. I always felt tom boyish and never felt feminine. So this week or next week I will definantly will be in onederland in over 15 years. Good luck to everyone else and stay strong, If you fall down get right back up. The sleeve makes it easier to

    All of my December sleevers...

Don't Give UP! Go back to basics. Protein first then veggies. Get in 70 grams a day. Water 64 ounces daily. Exercise if you can. You lost close to 100 pounds that AMAZING! when I stop logging my food I stop losing go to myfitnesspal.com and use that to chart your food intake, protein intake, water intake and exercise. You can do this and the sleeve will really help if you put the right stuff in. You can do this

    Headaches & Nausea

Im not sure how far out you are but I had horrible headaches in the first couple weeks. Dehydration and the low sugar really caused bad pain. If you feel like its too much call your doctor and let him know. I ate popsicle sticks NOT sugar free kind and it seemed to help. Good luck soon this will all seem like a dream and you will be bounce back to normal it takes time for your body to adjust to all the major changes its going through stay strong
