He says it wasn;t as hard as he thought it was gonna be. We work out together 2xs a week and has a very active job. so excited for you

ASKSARAH - Sleeve replied to adoptmom2_3's topic in Protein, Vitamins, and Supplements
And this is why we tell people not to buy things until after they are home. Sorry this happened to you. unjury is awful to me. Have you tried to send it back for a refund? -

ASKSARAH - Sleeve replied to hollirrose's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
How amazing. What a transformation. Tell me you had to get a new driver's license. You do not look like the same person. And as first the skin. That's what plastics Are for No worries -
Why not do stadium stairs. If you don't have a stadium thats open to the public ( like the rose bowl) you could head to your local high school football field or the Jr. College usually has a stadium. You could warm up on the track and then go up and down the stairs. We had to do this in HS and I remember it being super HARD and the next day my calf's were so sore.

Are vitamins really necessary post op? Help
ASKSARAH - Sleeve replied to jose1973's topic in Protein, Vitamins, and Supplements
I do not take Vitamins. I take B-12 about 3xs a week. I had my metabolic panel done and I look great and high in B-12. Its not necessary if you are eating well. IMHO. -
I hate this stall!
ASKSARAH - Sleeve replied to cmaloney's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It's actually not a stall until you have lost 0 inches or pounds for a month. Evaluate your diet, add more carbs or reduce carbs, maybe add more Water. How about your calories do you need to add more in or eat less? Maybe everything is ok and your body just needs to rest.... Good luck -
Massive appetite little restriction
ASKSARAH - Sleeve replied to boobyholes's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Oh my there are much better ways of preparing a chicken than boiling it.. When you boil it you render it tasteless and dry. Please bake your chicken in the oven or crock pot. Seriously use low sodium chicken broth and some veggies and spices for flavor. In essence your making a stock and have chicken baking in it. Then shred it and use it during the week. You will thank me. -
Seeing the #s change, but not feeling it?
ASKSARAH - Sleeve commented on nygurl's blog entry in hockeyMa's Blog
I am 30 Lbs lighter and at least 25 Inches smaller and I agree with the poster above me. That you were really a larger size and now its fitting properly and starting to get baggy. I am not seeing a size change either and I have lost more than you. I have a good friend I was telling this to and she is 8 months or so out and she said once you hit between 35- 40 lbs then you willsee changes in size and then monthly after that. I get that it is discouraging but hang in there its bound to happen -
Water and Heartburn
ASKSARAH - Sleeve replied to giggles232000's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I do from day 1, I avoid plain water and add flavor to it. Or drink tea -
Calories need input on this please
ASKSARAH - Sleeve replied to suzqlvq's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I have to intentionally eat carbs, like 2 sheets of graham crackers with a table spoon of cream cheese for instance and I get right back to losing -

Walking a lot....how much is a lot
ASKSARAH - Sleeve replied to caitiebug's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I walked starting 4 hours after my surgery. I set a goal of 10 minutes at the top of every hour. When the TV shows changed. I would get up and walk walk walk. I would just keep doing it till my time was up. If I didn;t get in at least 7-10 laps I wo0ud not go back and watch tv. I did this every hour and I truly felt the best when walking. I hated sitting or laying. There was far too much pressure in my chest. -
I popped a low fat cheeze it in my soup 2-3 week in I had a small handful 5-7 chocolate chips when I was making cookies last week. I WILL NEVER AGAIN IN MY LIFE EAT CHOCOLATE. I had super bad heartburn that I aspirated and was up all night dying! Heavy breathing and vomiting and coughing up acid. Learned my stupid lesson.

YOU'RE NOT HUNGRY. you should be eating every 3- hours small Protein rich meals. Drink Water, Go for a walk ( small or big) GO find something to do. Set a Timer for 30 min. Drink more water. If after 30 min if your still hungry have some protien. If your tummy "feels" hungry make sure you are are on a effective PPI.

Anybody use spanish translator APP while in Mexico?
ASKSARAH - Sleeve replied to fatbottomgirl79's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
you probably do not need one. I did not. There was always a floor doctor on the floor who spoke english pretty well. The nurses know the key words. And if I needed a towel or something I just showed them what I was needing. It was no big deal for me -
Ugh i woke up sick!
ASKSARAH - Sleeve replied to Gwenny's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It won;t stop them at all. Only thing that will stop surgery is a fever. Good luck, no excuses -
