Nervous is normal I think. Wow in 24 hours your new life begins. Someone is coming up with you? By the way They don't allow overnight guests. -

I'm on day 2 of my pre op liquid diet. It's pretty tough but not because I'm hungry. I think it's just that I miss food. It's like going cold turkey. I was at a friends house tonight and wanted to eat so bad. I admit when I cut my son's cheesecake I did lick the Lil bit that was on my finger. It tasted so good but felt so bad. I immediately made a chocolate Protein shake and reminded myself of the ultimate goal. Good luck

I'm having my surgery in May 6th. I'm a single mother and don't have any family in my area. I made arrangements for a friend to say with me post op but its looking like they won't be able to take off work. Realistically can I drive my three year old to school 4 days post op or will I be in too much pain. I know there is a two week driving restriction but Life doesn't stop because of surgery.

Oh man that would scare me too. I love my wine and can't imagine giving it up for life. But I certainly don't want to end up a drunk or dead as a result of this. -

I can't wait for my testing next week. I didn't know they had chewable. The support group is nice because I was able to ask questions but most of them are bypass patients and you can get all the info you need on here. It is nice to have someone face to face that I can talk to. How far away are you. There is one on first Saturday of the month maybe try that one. -

Omg! Glad you are happy with it. I was at the support group last night. I took a tour of the recovery room and saw a woman walking for the first time after surgery. She looked good. She said she was tired but felt good. I'm so excited. Have you purchased any protein shakes. I got a sample of some powders from injury going to try them this weekend. When is your surgery the 29th? -

Thanks! I'm hitting up Walmart and will get the yoga pants. I think id like to workout in yoga pants. plus they are really comfy. I've tried working out in sweats but they slide up my leg and are not comfortable to me. Something about the elastic. -

That's my biggest fear. I need to get to the gym pre surgery to lift weights. -
Hey there I'm thinking of buying a blender/juicer for my pre and post op diets. I like the vitamix but really want to be able to juice fruits and veggies. Anyone have one and can you juice with it
