  2. hey guys started back to work mon...im into my 3rd weel postop...today i feel dizzy and like im going to pass out...short of breath also...did anyone else feel like this...i can understand one would with as little calories but still i feel so freaking tired....also...havent lost weight in three days even gained a pound...thats frustrating as hell. what did yall do?
  3. Today I am one month post-op and have only lost 17 pounds. !4 of that was lost in the first 14 days after surgery so in the last 2.5 weeks i have only lost 3 pounds. It is very discouraging as little as I am eating. Just dont know what to do.

    9 months out- tonight I dumped!

    my doctor said that we dont get dumping syndrome with the sleeve..how are you with milk products,,,he said it was more likely to develope lactose intolerance. I would definately bring it up with your doctor if it continues. good luck

  7. austin here as well...was sleeved on the 19th of nov. Starting the support groups this month...excited to make friends that are traveling the same road:)
  8. Was feeling very week im on day 24 post-op and felt like fainting on Monday when I started back to work. My Nut said I wasnt getting enough calories that he didnt want me counting carbs , calories nothing. He said he wanted me eating cream soups, protein drinks anything to stay hydrated. Ok, I did this and I gained 3 pounds in 3 days. I am suppossed to start soft foods next week. I just feel like this isnt working:(

    Time off work

    i came back in 2 weeks but my job is alot of up and down. Im doing ok but the fist day i almost fainted but my nut said it was because i was starving myself...I bout the premeir Protein shakes from SAMS that have 30 grams pf protein in them...been drinking tywo a day and feel much better but still tired. If you have a desk job 2 weeks should be plenty. If your job is real active you might want to try and take 3 and do what they tell you to get in your Proteins and Fluid. I regret not getting it in like i was supposed to. good luck ~kris
  13. Thanks guys...i just wanted to cry when i got on the scale. Im so hungry for real food but im afraid to eat anything. im on purees this week but i cant hardly handle most pureed food...i cant do the texture of pureed chicken made me want to puke. Ive been eating cream soups and mashed potatoes and pureed refried beans...they brought some of those bite sized broccolli and egg quiche to work and i had one for breakfast 2 days in a row...flaked most the crust off so seriously how much could be in one of those. I cant wait to get to real food. Is anyone here on My Fitness Pal that keeps the food diary on there. I just joined but would love to see what people eat.

  15. me too....i didnt feel that bad at home...but i am up and down alot at work and i just want to lay down. thank you...i know my protein is lacking...guess i didnt relise just how important it was

    oh sweetie...my ex left me because i was fat. He also just came in one day..almost the excact day yours did 12 years ago and announced he no longer wished to be married. He has lived with someone ever since he left me has no plans of marrying her...I waited for years b4 i even went out on another date. I was devestated so I know excactly what you are going through. Just remember God is with you and He will be what you need to get through this. You obviously have prayers already from many here and I will pray for you as well. It wont be easy because the easiest thing to do is blame yourself for failing. You did not fail. YOu both took an oath before God for better and for worse...he left you and I will tell you this...if he doesnt come back you are better off without him and you will be happy again. Just trust God my friend....you have made a major decision to better your life and He will bless you for it. It will be ok...my heart, thought and prayers are with you. ~kris

    i printed all the recipes out in advance anticipating that they would be good. I loved her tortilla soup recipe as well, without the tortillas fo the first two weeks here...was a life saver i need that spice:)

    im not going to worry about the fat...not going to go crazy but not counting it either...im basically going to do like a modified atkins...my biggest thing because im bottom heavy is not overdoin the carbs.

    i dont know if this is what your asking but another member said her daily goals where 600-800 calories, max 40g carbs, min 60 g protein and 64 oz of liquids plus the vitamins as prescribed....i liked the guidelines and have adopted them as my own.
