Post op FIRST time pregnancies
AudOne replied to Jaime_Boston's topic in Pregnancy with Weight Loss Surgery
I am now 6 weeks along. This is a massive surprise as I just turned 42 this past weekend. We have been married for 20 years next month. We have tried all through our marriage with no luck. The surgery can definitely increase your fertility as we weren't even trying. Good luck! -
I turn 42 next Sunday. .just for the heck of I took a pregnancy test Saturday & it came back positive. .took 2 more & they are both positive. My hubby & I have been married for 20 years next month and my severe PCOS always prevented us from getting pregnant even with fertility treatments. Im cautiously optimistic, I go for blood work this afternoon ti confirm, I honestly didn't think it was remotely possible and yet here I am.

Congrats! I finally reached onederland on Thanksgiving & it is literally the first time in 20 years that I've been under 200 -
Down 89 pounds overall & yes loose skin. What I was surprised at is how little it bothers me. It was one of the things I was most worried about but now I just feel so much better that I don't really care

I have my first mud run this weekend. The course is designed by Spartan Race but it's for the biggest loser race series. Has anyone done any mud runs?

I have yet to tackle oatmeal since the surgery. I have a hard time with the protein shakes making me feel nauseous. Does having the protein in the oatmeal cut the after taste some?

Congrats! It was the best decision I've ever made for myself. I'm almost 5 months out & down 71 lbs. Good luck to you, the first two weeks I had food mourning where I was thinking "what have I done" but that goes away quickly -
Sounds so good!

I'm 8 weeks post op & am starting to amp up my workouts now. The problem is I am chafing really bad under my lower stomach. Has anyone else had this issue & if so, how did you solve it? Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks everyone for all the great ideas

I love crunchy salty snacks also I recently tried baked green pea pods. They are really crunchy only lightly salted & for me really satisfy that urge without hurting the tummy
-
Great! I hope you continue to do well and I wish you the best of luck

You look fantastic and so very happy! Congrats and best wishes for your very bright future! -
Fantastic job pre surgery! I only managed to squeak off 14 pounds but 46 is awesome! I wish you all the best on your journey. Remember if you wake up in pain that it fades in a couple of days (hardest time for me was right after surgery, remember thinking, "holy moly what have I done to myself") but I was off all pain meds in 5 days, so hang in and be excited about your bright future!

Congrats! Great job, can't wait to be there

Sugarfree popsicles were a lifesaver to me before and since my surgery. Good Luck! and Congrats!
