I was sleeved may 7th!! I'm starving, whether it is head hunger or not, I don't know lol but tomorrow I get to start some foods, my choices are, scrambled egg, light string cheese, fat free REFRIED BEANS plain yogurt, cottage cheese, and creamy soups...I'm can't wait

I am 8 days post op, I am starving!!! I get to start soft foods tomorrow thank god!

My surgery was one week ago tomorrow, I want to eat so bad, it all looks so good, my family is sitting here eating in front of me and I want it, this sucks, I almost feel like I wish I didn't do this because it is so good and comforts me. Will I ever not miss food!!!

Baby wipes is the only thing i say to bring and I just got home from the hospital today

I am mentally hungry seeing food on t.v., Husband and kid eating etc. I'm not hungry but want it for comfort. And is sounds good

My surgery is first thing in the morning and I cannot sleep, I have a headache, I'm starving, I'm scared, can I do this, I miss food already

Wow I am so glad this post is here, I should be having surgery in 3-4 weeks, and I cannot stop eating, I want to eat everything I'm sight because I feel like I'm never going to be able to eat it ever again! Ugh

What made you decide sleeve vs. bypass?

I have not had surgery yet...but i am a picky eater, i am worried because I don't like boiled eggs, cottage cheese or sea food etc (everything i will need to eat after surgery) anyone else like this? I'm hoping my taste buds will change after surgery or hoping I will mentally get over it?

Does everyone go through a regret stage after surgery...I haven't had surgery yet, but I am reading a lot about people wondering if they made the right decision AFTER they had surgery? I'm getting closer to my surgery date and am getting scared and don't want to regret it? Is this normal?

Thanks for the great advice...just getting scared because its getting closer, but I can't wait at the same time, wish I could do it now!!!

Just last week I went to my grandmothers and first thing she said to me was "you've gained weight". My dad on my birthday tells me he's "healthier than me". When I told my mom I was pregnant, the first thing she told me was "you better watch what you put in your mouth". My mom always tells me and other people that "she weighs less than her daughters"! I grew up with this. No one knows but my husband and friend that I am going to have surgery. And I can't wait to see their reaction when I am skinny!!! RUDE!!!!

I'm curious as too what you all do now when you are Happy, Sad, Bored etc instead of eating...?
