All of my December sleevers...
minimii replied to blkdiamond377's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I feel ya on that. I have a hard time ordering food knowing I'm only gonna eat about a fourth of it before I'm stuffed - I hate to waste the money. I don't always eat my leftovers, most of the time I end up throwing it away or my kids eat it up. I luv my new tool, and all the weight I have lost because of it. I just hate feeling like I'm wasting money on food. I am starting to get my hubby to order stuff we can share, or I'll get one of my kids to order something we can shares....like everything else, its a work in process Sent from my HTC EVO using VST -

Since January 2013 I was taking lovenox twice a day in the hospital, then four times a day at home. Now I'm taking fondaparinux once a day. Hopefully this will be my last month on it, then I will start wafrin pills for the next 6 months or so. At least I won't have to be shooting up my belly anymore

Praying for you!

The entire time I was off from work after me procedure all I did was watch food network, cooking channel, and man vs food My hubby thought I lost my mind watching food I could not eat

the pain i was in reminded me of how i felt when i had galstones - VERY painful. they had me on lovenox 2x a day in the hospital, but the way the script was written it was 4x a day at home . they took me off the warfarin/Coumadin pills while in the hospital because it appeared to be making my clots grow - plus the specialist prefers to wait after a month or two on the shots to change over to the pills. so next month i will be switching over to the warfarin pills, but for now he has me on fondaparinux 1x a day. when i go back next month they will do xrays and stuff to check if everything is going as planned.

i was in your shoes back in january - praying for you, it will get better

i developed blood clots and they said it had to do with a lupus trait - i dont have lupus but ido have rheumatoid arthritis. i hope & pray everything works out for you since you know this going in. i didnt find out about mine until after the surgery - when i got dehydrated and was admitted into the hospital.
