I am 34 years old from Texas. I have struggled with my weight since about the age of 10. Then I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 18 and I ballooned out after the insulin use. I have never been able to loss more than 45 lbs. at a time and keep it off. This has been a dream come true for me to have the opportunity to have this surgery. Can't wait to have a healthier me so I can be more active with my 9 year old son and husband.
