I was having the same problem I had my surgery on dec 17 2012 everyone was thinking i was just complaining my stomach was hurting I had to force the doctor to give me a endoscopy upper and come to find out my stomach was twisted when i eat food would taste nasty to me I would get up set and get sick water tasty nasty too i was hating my sleeve i want a normal life but since i have the problem fix i feel better and lil bit happier i'm on carafate to coat my stomach and then take my reflux medicine good luck i hope you feel better

h what do you mean about anything sweet in your water i have biotene tooth paste and biotene oral balace gel

I have the same problem you have to drink a lot more my throat hurt i freeze my water and i can drink it better that way stay in touch

My mouth is so dry at night i have Water with me and i can not sleep its getting on my nerves I need help I talk to my doc he say it will pass my throat is very soar it feel like i wanted to spit something up but i can not get it up I'm not a happy camper rite now what other ways i can get water or Powerade zero down i'm working a 32 powerade zero rite now wish me luck!!! I 'm nausea all the time i did get medicine for that i do not want to vomit I just want to feel that is all please help me thanks for listening

I was sleeve on dec 17 2017 I had problems I could not do the Protein shakes I talk to my doctor, I was very nausea everyday so they put me on a pill save my life I feel better but when I need I have to take it Ensure Clear or Juven - clear Protein shake, fruit flavored Fluids Plan: warm broth clear, 64 oz Powerade zero, lactaid milk, may try Diet popsicles, diet Jello Try stage 3 to Stage 4 foods: eggs, ground turkey meatballs, ground turkey meatloaf, chili, fish white, tuna, mashed potatoes mixed with plain Protein powder, fat free refried with cheese (if tolerated with lactose intolerance).
