  7. All I can say is WOW!! You look amazing! I, too, am from Texas. I was sleeved 11/15/12, and have lost 51 lbs to date! You have definitely inspired me. I have struggled with my weight since my elementary school years, and I'm ready to do this. Congrats on the new you!
  8. How many carbs are you all eating day? Are you eating any breads/pastas etc...? Just worried I'm getting too many. I avg 50-55 grams/day. Most of the time less, but sometimes WAY more. Never gone over 100 though.

  11. Second floor. Look for arrows or sign in elevator.
  12. I'm not sure how long your pre op lasted, but I'd say losing 88 lbs is anything but slow!!! Even if that were for a 6 month time frame... Wow!!! Congrats on the lose. )

I, too, suffer from PCOS. I am 2 months post op, down 50 lbs, and have started my cycle 2 times on my own since surgery. Before surgery, I was having a period once a year (maybe). Now ive had 2 in 2 consecutive months! The first was just days after surgery so I attributed it to stress to the body. The other came exactly 28 days later and was heavy for a day or two, but otherwise normal. Here's to hoping that PCOS has met it's match!!!
  14. FYI- next mtg at Physicians Centre, 2nd floor, Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 - 5:30-6:15.
  15. Just had to check in with everyone and share my great news!!!! Today I am exactly 2 months post op. I had an appt with my surgeon, and I was surprised to see that I am down 50 lbs! I stalled for a long time and have just recently started losing again. So exciting. Please stay encouraged as we will all get to the place we want to be, in our own time. Losing is losing, no matter how slow it is. We are all going in the right direction.
  16. There are actually 2 groups. One meets at the physicians centre, and the other is at St. Joseph's. The one at physicians cntr meets 2 times per month, (2nd and 4th tuesdays) and just had a meeting this past tues. The other just had one on Thursday. Also if your on Facebook go to "brazos valley bariatric surgery support group" page and join. They send out reminders for the meetings.

     Any 11/15 Sleeves? 

How much has everyone lost? I am at a stall and want/need encouragement.
  19. Help!! I'm stuck. I have stalled and can not get it moving again. I've been lingering at the same total loss for 2 weeks. I have increased protein, exercise etc to no avail. Getting really discouraged. I know that there is a common stall at week 3, but for how long? I feel like I've lost all I am going to and of course since numerous failed dieting attempts, this does not feel good.

    Any Nov 15Th Sleevers?

How is everyone doing? I am still trying to get all my liquids in, but proteins are getting much easier. What foods/purees/mushies are you all eating now? Anyone try real food yet?

     Any 11/15 Sleeves? 

I too have PCOS. It has always been hard for me to lose. I think I may go back to full liquids for a week or two. I find myself eating the wrong things at times. I figure a bite here and there won't hurt, but that's how I got to where I was to start. Anybody else sneaking bites of your husbands meals?

     Any 11/15 Sleeves? 

Hi there! Sleeved 11/15 in College Station Texas. Doing great! Down 32 lbs, but am in a stall right now. What foods are you all eating at this point? Also how much can you eat? I'm afraid I'm eating the wrong things and too much of it. I can eat about 4oz of food at this point. Just seems like much more than most. I've been reading about people only able to eat 2-4 tbsp. I am getting between 60-70 grams of protein. Not doing well on liquids though.
