I was sleeved on nov.8 and to this day my stomach seems to have consistent discomfort. I'm still not eating really water and maybe a yogurt a day. How are the rest of you all doing.

My health is way more important and I really thought about telling them to stick it. But me working employs a team of 10 that travel with me n then if I leave or get fired my bills are going to build up crazy

Greetings everyone. I am extremely stressed out these days. My stomach consistently feeling upset. I was forced to fly back to Atlanta b/c of some work related issues the problem is I had surgery in NYC which now means I can't see my doc. I really don't know what to do. Unlike most ppl whose doc notes allowed them to be out of work for 4-6weeks I don't have a traditional job so if I get fired there is no one I can complain to.

What's going on VSG family. I went to the doctor today and I'm down 43 pounds. It's crazy to think that in 20 day since surgery I have lost 43 pounds. The last few days have been the most difficult since surgery It has been hard keeping hydrated my doctor was a lil upset and wants to see me again in a few day and if its not better she will be readmitting me. All and all I feel ok when I get something down I'm find other times I feel a lil weak. I hope all of you are doing great.

Last night was my 1st night home back in my bed in it was extremely uncomfortable. My doctor said it should get better.

I wake up during the night with pains I try to sip a lil water and lay back down. The pain of being hungry is nothing to the actual physical pain I feel. I'm still sore from the surgery in the gas pains are sitting on my back which is not good b/c I lay on my sides yet. Going to fill my meds today and hope that helps me.

I was released tonight @ like 7pm I'm happy to be back home. It's crazy I was in the hospital for 5 days the gas pains are real but ok

Was sleeved on the 8th I'm still in the hospital I can keep more than 2oz down an hr and may be 7 a day my doctor doesn't want to release me b/c of the high chance of dehydration. I feel pretty go however I'm ready to get out of here I'm still in a shock that I did the surgery it still feels like a " Did I really moment"

How's are you all doing. Your stories are really helping me relax my big day was oct 31st but pushed back due to hurricane sandy and I have one more full day.

My date is set for November 8th which was a replacement date from the original date which was October 31st which was changed due to sandy. And now there is a another storm heading for NYC I'm getting extremely discouraged and stressed about the situation.

The doc office was telling ppl at the meeting that insurance company's don't cover the removing of skin as a cosmetic procedure however if it us medically needed they will. She said to the group if their is anything bumps boils etc go to see the main doc in let them Note everything every-time it happens b/c than it is Likely it will be covered. She told us see has never seen a case where it didn't get covered. Especially b/c of the fact that we are having the type of procedure we are.

Question does anyone feel a lil sick from taking vitamins or any other pills without anything else in the stomach

I was told by my doc that water holds in the body. Your body could be a stand still have u added working out into ur daily

Yesterday I totally fall off the wagon but I'm back on. I'm doing the vanilla shakes. I know the ppl at GNC are sick of me I think I have tried every protein powder in that store. With a receipt you can bring the product back even if it was used and I have taken full advantage of that policy

I'm extremely stress my date was today but due to sandy my date was moved to Thursday. I have not even had my surgery yet in the relationship I was inn has come to an end because of her option of what I'm doing. I feel like she is making me choose the surgery or her but what she doesn't understand is that I'm not choose surgery over her I'm choose to live, to have a better longer life. Have any of y'all experienced these issues.

That's how it was for me. My insurance was contacted on the 22 by the 23 I was approved n I would have had my surgery done already however sandy caused my date to be pushed back a week. I can't believe that this is about to happen I am excited & nervous at the same time.

im happy i found this post i am college student as well and i am going to have the VSG onthe 31stof this month.
