My husband and I had our surgeries with Dr Quinones. I highly recommend him. He is very reasonably priced, around $4 - 4500 now. Good luck! It's so worth it! -

My husband and I both had surgery Jan 2. The surgery was the easiest surgery I've ever had. We were sore when getting up or bending over, had some gas, but pain was minimal. We are 5 weeks out today and I am so thankful we had surgery. My husband has lost 55lbs and I'm down 46lbs. I was able to chase and play with my 2 year old son at a large park today. We usually walk a couple miles a day or go to our local gym and swim with the kiddos. We are rarely hungry and have had no issues with eating. No sliming, throwing up or anything. Our family is healthier and we are so much more active. I have a ways to go to get to my goal weight, but I'm on my way and loving it! Good luck to all you soon to be sleevers!!! I hope everything goes smoothly for you as we'll! -

Congratulations!!! The pre-op diet isn't as bad as it seems...the first 2 - 3 days are tough, but after that its a breeze. Good luck!!

Congratulations!! I'm so happy for you!

First of all, congratulations! Second, how you feel is completely normal. I think most of us have had those feelings. What I did was focus on the things I would be able to do after surgery. How much healthier I would be. The fact I would be around for my kiddos to grow up... Complications do happen, as most surgeries have a risk of complications. Only you will be able to decide if its worth it to you. My husband and I were sleeved 5 weeks ago today. We feel great! My husband is down 55lbs and I've lost 46lbs. Best decision we ever made. Good luck, however you decide!!

How does recovery compare to c-section?
Keepgoing247 replied to laceymm888's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I think the sleeve is a quicker recovery and less pain. I recovered from both in a few days... -
Good luck!!!
