Post Op September Sleevers, Roll Call

So I've lost 46 lbs and able to wear 13 - 14 clothes. I'm still struggling as I know I am not getting my protein in everyday like I should and haven't been able to exercise the way I should due to obligations and an unsupportive spouse. I am starting to get depressed because I am unhappy in my life. Not just the weight but life. I had just lost my job after being there 10 years when I had my surgery and now I am a different person living a different life. Is it wrong that I've changed and am no longer happy in my old life? My husband and I had problems before but now days all I think about how my life would be without him as my husband. You all probably think I'm a horrible person but I have no friends to talk to about this and cannot hold it in anymore.... Sorry.

  4. I had my surgery on September 19th and I am down 28 lbs! The protein is the hardest part for me...I have tried so many and I don't like any of them! I even went to the pharmacist to ask it there was a pill form...he laughed and told me protein doesn't work that way...any suggestions?

Congrats on getting a date! Just take things one day at a time and remember that it's not all peaches and cream...it's still work to get the weight off!

I had my surgery on Sept 19 and I lost good the first 2 weeks (19 lbs) and then nothing for the next 2 weeks. I called my doctor very frustrated as well and he assured me that it was normal...he said my body was in shock and to try milk of magnesia as constipation might be the issue. I have lost 10 more lbs...you might try it.

    How Much Losing A Week?

I had my surgery on September 19 and have lost 25... The doc says its normal to lose a lot the first week (15 lbs) and then the next couple of weeks slow down ( 4 lbs the 2nd wk) ( 0 the 3rd wk). I was told that if u r not pooping regularly to try milk of magnesia to help as when u r not going ur body is holding on to food it shouldn't which the doc stated is normal after any weight lose surgery. He also said to make sure u r getting all ur Protein and taking all of the Vitamins as those r easy to neglect and will keep u from losing weight. Hope this helps.
