I'm from Louisiana too. I am from a little town an hour North of Baton Rouge. I am using Andrew Hargroder my date is December 3rd. I have a little less than two weeks away. I wish you all the luck in the world on your surgery.

What is the benefit of doing so? I have been on here for a couple of weeks just reading. I don't really have friends that have had this operation. I sort of feel alone:( This site has been a true blessing for me! I have a very supportive family, but they don't really know what I'm going through. I'm having my surgery December 3rd!!! I love it when I hear other people having surgery around that date. So ready for this new journey!!!

Your story sounds a lot like mine. I have worked hard to save up the money to pay for this surgery. Insurance won't pay. I am having surgery Dec 3rd, God willing!!! I can't wait to take a vacation to Disney. The thought of keeping up with my 9 year old twins without my feet killing me is a dream. A dream that is soon to come true. Best of luck on your journey. -
