What Breaks Your Stall
Ms.Rosie replied to sexy_sleevegirl's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was in a stall for more than a month so I up my water to 6 16oz bottles a day plus my protein shake another 12oz of fluid and if I work out I add 2 more water bottles and it sure did the trick cause I was going nutts almost giving up so check your water intake maybe thats all you need like me. Good luck! -
What's More Important Water Or Protein?
Ms.Rosie replied to jkfjdohio's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was in a stall for alittle over a month and I notice that water was what I need to break it. Its hard you feel like your a fish lol but the scale is finally moving YAHHHIIIIIIIIII so anyways I agree with everyone else water first and then make sure you have your protein I buy mine at walmart is whey protein isolate and it has 30g of protein per scoop plus I add 8oz skim fat free milk for a total of 38grams of protein and is $19 and I only have one shake a day the rest of my protein I get from food. -
I was 246 starting weight and lost 7 pounds pre-op and 26 post-op for total of 35 pounds. The thing is up into thanksgiving day I was doing everything right including 1 1/2 in the gym of cardio and weights and I just don't see the scale moving I up my calories this past 3 days for sure thinking it would break this stall or something and it made me gain 1 pound at this point I don't gave a goal or anything I'm just worried I will get back to my old ways and put anything in my mouth since I don't see results I heard about the stalls but really 4 pounds in a month is not enough especially when I'm working out 5 days I lost more before when I was eating normal and working out the same amount of time:((( But thanks girls for listening to me that helps specially cause you guys are going through the same thing as me and yeah maybe all of this will get better:((

I Need Help Please!
Ms.Rosie replied to jewels1227's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You should talk to your doc and ask him what is the correct amount of protein you need today I saw my doc I'm 5 weeks out and he told me all I need is 50grams of protein so I don't need the shakes if I can manage to eat those 50grams in my meal he said thats the reason why I've been in a stall for more than two weeks so I really hope he is right I mean he is the doc lol -
5 Weeks Out And Doc Said No More Protein Shakes.
Ms.Rosie posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
So I saw my doc today and talk to him about my 2 week and counting stall and he said I need to stop drinking the protein shakes cause too much protein also makes you not loose he also states that for my height I should only be having 50grams of protein. Has any of your doc ever said this??? Well I'm happy cause I can not stand the shakes and I hope this does break this stall will be starting this tomorrow:) -
Same here girl going into the third week of this stall and its not fun especially when its the first stall makes you want to quit but we can't lets just take one day at a time and sooner than soon it will be over and back to loosing weight:)

This Is My First Stall And I Wanted To End Now:((((
Ms.Rosie posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I"m almost six weeks out and I guess getting over your first stall is the worst of the worst been on it for 3 weeks can I scream STOOOOOOOOOOOOP cause I just feel like giving up and no inches are coming off either. I've been doing everything getting my protein, liquids, getting my workouts, eating my calories and it won't stop messing with me ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I feel so down sometimes tomorrow I go se my doc hopefully he can help me someway cause I'm really getting depressed and I regret telling people about my surgery cause each time they see me is like so how much have you lost now really is that the only conversation we are going to have cause I'm out, don't want to explain about my stall so just don't ask me. Well thanks for listening to me friends I know you guys understand where I'm coming from:( -

October Sleevers-How Ya Doin?
Ms.Rosie replied to Holly5.3's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Charchar don't get discourage about this journey everything your saying sounds very familiar and about the leak your past that phase and about the leak I read in Dr.Alvarez book is that if you don't get a leak within the first two weeks the chances of getting one after are very slight I also talk to my doc about that and he said the same thing so things will get better I'm having the same issues as your but I try to stay positive and say to myself that it will all be worth it at the end. So keep positive:) -
Depo-Estraidol Injections
Ms.Rosie replied to Carol Watts's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was sleeved 10/9 and yes I have been on the stall as well so I think is just part of the journey and I'm also on birth control so I guess we just have to keep doing the right thing and hopefully we will get out of this stall soon.
