  1. Has anyone gotten it done at Henry Ford Hospital Detroit? I have some questions.
  2. I'm hoping december but I won't know until november 30th.
  3. I was wondering if expecting to lose 120 lbs is unreasonable. I'm currently 274, my beginning weigh in was 286, but I'm trying to lose weight before hand to give myself a boost and help the doc out with less ab fat to deal with. Thanks Guys.

    120Lbs Unreasonable?

Cowgirljane I am working out already and I want to maximize my loss by doing everything to the T. I will tell you, I let myself have a weekend where I ate the way I use to, I have been sick off and on since, and for me its a great reminder of why I was doing this I've been poisoning my body all these years I was extremely lethargic, and after this last weekend I'm I never care if I eat any of that food ever again. I'm excited that I finally have enough drive to do this Congrats on your weight loss everybody.

    Bye Bye Nicotone!

When I quit in 2008 I just avoided a few things that I did when I would smoke, like talking on the phone I would smoke more and being outside I smoked more. So I did those things less for about 6 months but I quit during winter so that helped. Good luck!
  11. Thanks guys. I'm excited for sure. It took me two years from looking into to it to actually pursuing getting it done. I feel hope for the first time in a long time. Good luck to all of you
  12. Hello everyone, I'm new to this group. I am excited to see a support group for people getting the sleeve. I'm currently in the process I get Medical clearance on Nov 8th, and nov 14th I have a physiologist appt (for exercise training). Then on Nov 30th I have my second consult at that point they will schedule my surgery. I'm hoping december will be the month I get it done. They said in this hospital its 3 months start to finish, and I started the beginning of October. Anybody else get it done this fast? How long from scheduling for surgery to the date of surgery was it for you? I wish everyone best of luck
