  1. Hi losers, I am two weeks out and having a terrible time time getting the water in. Had to go in for 24 hrs of IV fluids at 11days post op . Doing better but my surgeon says that sleeves can be slower to get going due to the pyloric valve at the bottom of your sleeve getting swollen and not functioning normally . I am trying to start more full liquids and some yogurt . Hope it will slide well . Keep the faith!

    October Sleevers! Announce Yourselves

    Hi , I am Paula ,a 54 yr young equine. Veterinarian. I have twins that are 22 , one in Medical school and the other in college. I had my sleeve on 10/8/12 and have had a bit of a bumpy ride since. Mostly dehydration. Geeze , it is hard to drink that much I have lots of pets supporting me as well as family. Horses and Corgis are the most help since I have to constantly diet them . The team at Winchester Bariatric are great ! Good luck to all still waiting this month!

    I had the same problem for the first twos eels but it is starting to improve . It takes awhile for the valve a the base of your stomach to get over the surgery and swelling and start to function more normally
