How long should did you wait before drinking?

I haven't been able to "go to the bathroom" in 4 days!! I've tried Xlax and coffee and Water. I'm starting to feel pain in my abdominal area. I am 3 weeks out of surgery. Still on soft foods. Has anyone else gone through this??? How do I fix it??? Thanks a million for all your help!!

Yes yes! I'm full. And it hurts so much. It feels like there is a plug in there(sorry for being gross too)

Ok...Thank YOU ALL so much.... BUT... How long does it take the suppositories to work. I'm on my third one and nothing:( I'm scared I'm going to have to go to the doctor....

Thank You so much! What an inspiration you are!! I my pre-surgery weight was 216. I'm down to 210, career the 8 I gained immediately after surgery!! I cannot wait for this we results!!! Can you tell us what you've been doing this year to lose?!??!

I had my surgery the 21st also. I'm not struggling with head hunger, for me its I see it I want to eat it! I've been on liquids and still having liquid out issues lol. I know I'm not getting enough to eat as far as vitamins and protein, but I just can't fit it all in there! After these four days I am finally back down to my per surgery weight! I walk 2 miles a day and have virtually no pain. No heartburn(never had it before). All in all I'm doing pretty good!

How many of you have had constant diarrhea? I sneeze and I better be on the toilet. I'm not hungry but have to force myself to eat. I walk to work out the gas but then I still end up with diarrhea ! I'll be honest I'm only a few days out of surgery but I'm afraid to drink anything other thank water! Anyone else have this problem?? What did you do??

I had my surgery on the 21st. Not gonna lie I gained 8#'s. not stepping on the scale again until my bloating goes away! Lol I'm looking forward to a huge success!

I have friends that are less than six months out already drinking like they never had surgery. I am 3 days out of surgery. I won't have alcohol anytime soon. Just wondering what everybody thought. My nutritionalist said to refrain "as long as I could" lol.

I understand your fear completely!! I've been watching the actual surgery on YouTube. That seems to help with those nerves. My fear is getting out of surgery and never changing.....

Hi:) My surgery is scheduled for the 21st of January. I have my PRE-op with my doctor this Thursday and I am freaking out!!! I haven't met my goal weight yet and I know every doctor is different but has anyone else had this issue. Also I am SCARED AND NERVOUS AND EXCITED!! All at once. Help!!!

Right! Thank you all so much! I've already had my blood drawn, X-rays, and EKG! All good there! Now I meet with my surgeon on Thursday. I think I'll be fine. I am making every effort to follow the PRE surgery liquid diet. "IT'S KILLING ME!!!" Lol. I'll handle it though! I have an amazing support system here at home and friends that won't let me quit!! (Thank The Lord!) I'll keep you all updated on Thursday!! I'm so ready for this!!
