At first I was private about telling people, but after about 6 months and losing 100 lbs I tell everyone that asks my weigh loss secret. You should be able to tell who you want in your own time. My mom told everyone too :*(

I have eaten popcorn & nuts without problems & drank caffeine . Corn does make my stomach sore. I am 9 months since surgery.

How is everyone doing? I'm happy with my weight. My new goal is just to tone up this extra skin. :*)

I can only eat more at dinner time. The doctor said its normal cuz your stomach relaxes.

I'm down over 100 lbs and almost to my goal :*)

It helps but I got the liquid and it is so disgusting tasting bought the hair, skin & nails from Walgreens instead much more tolerable

Down to 178 lbs 38 lbs to my goal wearing a size 10 :*) YAY I would probably be at my goal if it weren't for all this extra skin. More gym time I guess.

How is everyones weight loss going? I am 4 months out of surgery and down 82 lbs only 47 lbs to go :*)

LOL I agree everyone made the VSG sound like nothing. I woke up thinking the same thing "What did I do to myself?" Have to admit I would definitely do it over because I am happy with my results, but I do tell anyone considering it the absolute truth. Surgery is not the easy way out like some may think. I am glad that someone else is educating us and giving realistic expectations.

I am OCD too so I do not have a scale I only allow myself to visit hubby at work once a week and weigh in there.

Actually some of the wraps do work it's basically the same thing as sitting in a sauna it shrinks the fat cells. If you have them done frequently then your skin will become firmer. My husband got a full body one before and my cousin use to sell some and I have seen their results. It was definitely due to the wraps because they didn't change their lifestyle at all. Im not saying they all work because some of them are just scams for money. If you can find a decent priced one and it works I say go for it. Sure beats spending thousands on surgery.

Surgery date Oct 17th Weight 242 lbs Before Pre Op Diet 269 lbs Dec 27th 201 lbs :*) This was the BEST decision of my life. More than half way to my goal of 140 lbs. New Year's Resolution to get toned and not have a ton of excess skin.

I am so happy down to 201 almost to my under 200 by New Year's Goal and more than half way to my ending goal of 140. My new goal is to tone this extra skin next week "hello gym". :*)
