Happy (almost) Anniversary fellow sleevers!!! We've come a LONG way. I don't even recognize myself anymore. From a size 26 to 12 pants., 3X to a medium shirt!!! From 290 to 175. I still have 25 pounds to go but it is so much better than the 140 lbs I needed to loose this time last year. I am so proud of us all! We changed our lives. Now the real fun starts with keeping it off. : ) Good Luck!!!!

I FINALLY HIT ONEDERLAND!!!! 90 lbs gone - I can not believe it! My stomach pouch has gotten a little bigger. I am now able to eat an entire hot dog (without bun). Anyone else noticing that they can eat more?

I started Biotin just in case too. I finally broke out of 230s but just barely. I'm at 227 and I feel like I'm eating next to nothing and no carbs at all. How are you doing?

I am the same 5'3" and my doctor said 150. I really want to be in the healthy range of 130. My neighbor had bypass and says that she struggles to stay above 140 so I'm hoping I have that "problem". The bad thing is she has lost so much hair. I haven't seen her in a while so I'm not sure how she is now. I'm very scared about that. Everytime I wash my hair I am worrying about hairloss. Have any of you noticed hair loss? Is it ok to die your hair after surgery? I didn't know my natural hair color because I've been highlighting it since I was 16 so I died my hair dark brown before surgery trying to match my eyebrows. It turns out my natural hair color was actually dirty blonde so now I have light roots with dark brown hair. It looks so weird, but I'd rather have weird hair color that no hair at all LOL!! Good luck ladies!! I'm counting down the days till I get below 230. I've been stuck in the 230s for about 2 weeks now.

Thank you so much! I had a great day yesterday. I was wearing size 22 pants and they were getting overly baggy so I went to buy a pair of 20s and found that I actually fit an 18 with a stretch waist!!! Yay!! You are right. I'll just embrace my own path. I really appreciate your words of encouragement.

Congratulations! That is an awesome accomplishment. I'm a little sad I'm not there yet but happy that someone else from our surgery date made it I feel a little closer every day ... I'm OCD about weighing myself.

Guess I should have included a quote but I was looking at page 13... I did okay during the holidays. I had a piece of Savannah Taffy and then gave the rest away at work. I have started drinking coffee again - Soy latte is my drug of choice with splenda. I try to do decaff during the week and indulge in caffiene on the weekend. I had wine for the first time. I drank 1 glass and felt a buzz but it wasn't a happy buzz like I use to get. It made me exhausted and my muscles ached. No hangover and it was gone quickly... but I find that I don't like drinking like I use to. It isn't enjoyable to me.

wow you've lost almost 70 pounds in 2 1/2 months! That is GREAT! I need to update my weight but I'm just now reaching 50 lbs lost since Oct 15th. I have eliminated carbs and sugar and only eat lean meats and cheese with V8 for my veggies as breakfast and evening snacks.

  15. I agree with this user. I don't think abortion is the answer. I think adoption is a great choice for women who find themselves unable to take care of a baby. My personal experience, I was adopted at birth because my biological parents were 15-16 years old when I was conceived and I love them for making that decision even though my maternal grandmother tried to talk my mother into aborting me. Thanks to their gift, I grew up with two wonderful parents who loved me unconditionally and didn't even tell me I was adopted until I was 20 years old and only because my birth mother had asked if she could meet me. As an adult I have a good friendship with both of my biological parents and hold no ill will. It is a very selfless act for a 16 year old girl to carry a baby she isn't keeping to term when other girls that age make fun of her. When I look at my daughters I am even more thankful she spared my life because I don't think the world would be such a wonderful place without these two souls. My close friends have tried for 10 years to have a child and because of how expensive it is to adopt they haven't been able to afford it since he is a Marine and she is a school teacher in Virginia. They would love to adopt any unwanted children so please send me a message if you consider giving your child up for adoption rather than abortion.
