She miscarried between the time she posted yesterday at 6pm and 5am this morning? I didn't read it that way... I guess because of my experiences with close friends that have miscarried a couple of months into their pregnancy it seemed so very quick to go through all of that (get admitted in the hospital and be back home released, rested and up arguing on the computer) that I didn't consider that as an option. But everyone is different and bounce back at different rates. That is a really sad situation

I keep hearing people talk about bad things that happen when you eat wrong post sleeve. What is sliming? Thankd!

You didnt mention this was at least the second time you've gotten unwanted pregnant since you were sleeved... ... ... When I read your post you said you had heartburn and morning sickness therefore you wanted a "natural miscarrage" so you didnt have to put up with it which another person said could leave the baby brain damaged and/or deformed. That is what I called selfish earlier and if you cant understand where I am coming from or that what I said about my experience was not even about what I lived through but what a baby is worth then I'm not speaking the same language as you. To use your metaphor...100 heart attacks outcome unknown are worth the lives of my daughters if that makes more sense to you. If you feel judged or mad by my opinion I am sorry as that was not my intent. I will not post again on your thread. Also know that there is a safe chemo patient drug pregnant people can take to stop nausia that has FDA approval. If you dont try to get rid of the baby your obgyn can tell you more about it. Do you even know if you ARE pregnant? Has a doctor checked you? I have to give my opinion...but I too believe in God's plan and murdering a child because you have acid reflux and morning sickness (both COMPLETELY NORMAL even without a sleeve) is the most selfish act I can imagine. At my fattest I carried 2 girls and was sick for all 9 months not able to eat meat at all throwing up every 15-30 minutes with high blood pressure and medicated heart burn plus max tums and nearly died giving birth BUT i would do it over a hundred more times because they make life worth living. It was after they turned 3 that I got sleeved so that I could spend even more years on earth healthy loving them. I cant imagine willingly flushing their entire lives ...a million smiles...down the drain over morning sickness and heartburn....

I don't know... I still have trouble drinking Water without being sick...

I am going to do a glorified happy dance when I am closer to 200 than I am 300... 10 more lbs to go!!! <3

I started a 26 @ 289lbs and now my 24s are too big but 22s are uncomfortable on my hips when buttoned. How about you? 20 by Christmas would be great!

I have lost almost 30 lbs so far but only 3 in the past 2 weeks. It was really discouraging and I wanted to quit but then I remembered my stomach was in a biohazard bin somewhere :-/. I had popcorn yesterday at the twilight movie and it felt great. I have been starving myself of all the food I loved until I couldnt stand it. I think moderation is much better for me than complete avoidance.

Wow! I am only 4 weeks out and I've NEVER heard no gum or popcorn!! I'm on phase 3 and I chew a pack of gum a week with no gas problems. My tummy only talks to me when I take my Calcium chews and its SO embarassing at work. I started popcorn (100 cal packs) back this week. I'm a scientist and biomedical engineer so I understand that affect of stomach acids on different food groups so although popcorn gives off gas it does not expand in the stomach - it shrinks so I can feel like I'm eating more to reach that 3 oz. limit in my pouch. I make sure I eat it SUPER SLOW so that I feel when I'm full. I chew a ridiculous amount of time and even bite off the hard parts so that I don't get something rough in my stomach until its fully healed. My doctor pushed my 1 month followup back to 2 months post op which was a bummer, but so far I feel great. My lifestyle, exercising and eating habits have completely changed. My favorite foods are still my favorite foods: Dill Pickles, Tomatoes, Popcorn, and pizza (skim milk cheese and turkey pepperoni without crust). I just eat a lot less of them.

Hey! I had surgery on 10/15. Ive lost 28 lbs so far but for 8 days Ive been stuck at the same weight. Im eating 4 3oz blended meals a day of low cal low fat no sugar food....any ideas why I have stopped losing?

Had my 2 week followup Thursday....24 pounds down and 100 more to go! I went from a size 26 to 24 and now those are loose. I've cut all carbs except fruits and veggies

I think i hurt myself today. I was bending over a lot sorting laundry and moving the piles into the laundry room and when i bent over the last time it felt like my stomach was on fire burning on my right middle. When I laid down it felt better but i dont remember hearing not to bend at the waist....did you?? I was trying to do too much but I didnt lift anything heavy... hopefully its not serious. Its not bothering me at all now but I dont want to sit up to see if its still painful. I just want to take it easy the rest of today since I start work tomorrow.

Mine is mental too not actual hunger. I dont go to the movies because I crave nachos w jalopenos. I was an emotional eater so when I think of eating pizza I think of feeling happy and relaxed...so whenever I want to feel that way I think about eating pizza. And congrats on your engagement ring fitting! I went down a pant size Friday woohoo! Been at the same weight for three days though ...

The pain is still there but less severe. Hearing all of your stories helps me see a light at the end of the tunnel I will only bend at the knees for the next few months so it can heal. Thanks!
