I have been struggling with my weight since year 2000. It always seemed as though i could shed the pounds easily at first , but after having my daughter in 2004, i seemed to just flat line. I've always been a "thick chick", "voluptuous", "big boned" the list of names goes on and on. Granted, i have always had a high self esteem regardless of my weight, but i started having those days when i would look in the mirror and say " whats happening to me". After having my son in 2008 hitting an ultimate high of 280 pounds (while pregnant), it appeared that it was impossible to lose weight so i just blamed it on my pregnancy. I've been on numerous weight lose programs and faithfully go to the gym but it just is not working for me. I will admit that one problem i have is "not eating". I claim to always be so busy at work and being wife/mommy that i forget about me. After having a friend have the sleeve done i started doing my research and decided that that was what i was gonna do for me, for my health. Thank God i don't have any medical issues even though i am considered to be overweight. I just want to feel, look and actually be healthy.
