    A Couple Of Questions....

I think there is a HUGE difference in your intake at 1 month post-op versus your intake at 1-year post-op so that's kind of a wide range. I'm 5 weeks post-op and I take in between 350 and 400 calories per day. Examples of what my stomach is good with for a meal: 1 egg OR 5 medium-sized shrimp OR 2 TBSP's Peanut Butter. I'm not always 'bursting' but my surgeon told me to simply eat until you are satisfied, not until you are full (or your stomach will stretch). In the first week after surgery, 2 ounces of liquid made me BURSTING-full.

    Food Costs

Our grocery bills have gone down a HUGE amount. I can't imagine it going up when you are eating such a tiny amount of food!
  4. I must be a weirdo - I really liked mine but haven't had one since I was able to start on regular food.

    Newly Sleeved

The only information I have is from my doctor, of course, and all doctors give different advice - But according to mine, eating every 2 to 3 hour is too often. I was on liquids (high Protein shakes only) for the first two weeks and had 2 ounces (only) 4 times per day. Once I moved to foods, I was told to space my meals at least 4 to 5 hours apart. I would check with your surgeon, if I were you.
