Hey everyone! I had my sleeve surgery almost 2 years ago and have lost 120 pounds. I have been about the same weight for a few months now. I can't complain though. I have lost more then I expected. Anyway, if anyone is interested in being sleeve buddies, hit me up on Facebook. Michelle Reed Bushey.

September Sleevers Progress Updates?
onmywaytoday replied to Sunshine30's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
My surgery was 9/26 and I have lost 43 pounds. I have had stalls, but am happy with the progress. -
Yea. It is a typical response. I think most people feel threatened. No matter what anyone elses opinion is, you are making the decision to take control of your life and your health.

onmywaytoday replied to onmywaytoday's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I sip, but it still feel like I gulped it. Very weird. I am just over 4 weeks out. I hope it gets better!! -
Hi everyone! I am 3 weeks out today. So far I have healed fine and feel good about my decision. I have my wtf was I thinking moments, ex: when I ate or drank a little too fast. I know though that I am just at the beginning of this process and it will get easier. I am glad to have found this site and look forward to talking with you and learning from everyone.

At my post op appt, which was 8 days after surgery, I had lost a total of 20 pounds. 2 weeks later I am only down 8 more pounds. Whats up with that? I do see a difference though, so I am not sure why the numbers aren't showing

With as little as we can eat I thought it would go faster too ArtSong......

Thank you all for replying. It is nice to be able to talk to people who can relate.I don't know anyone who has personally had the sleeve, and everyone else who hasn't had surgery thinks that this is an easy fix and that nothing is hard. I try to pay them no mind, because in the end I did this for myself.
