hey guys, I,m not doing so good I've been really down, but I see that you've had 6 fills and your up to 3.25cc I've had 9 fills and I'm only @3.2cc no wonder it's been so hard to loose. I am one of the first 3 lap bands done by this dr. and I think hes been afraid to put much in at a time. May 18th will be 1 year and I've only lost about 40 lbs. but I'm not giveing up!

Don't feel bad I've been band sence May and I've had 7 fills and I'm still not losing. Talk about fed up..... I just keep going back and getting another fill I have a 4cc band and I'm at 2.5. I have no leeks my Dr. is just taking things slow. I'm due to go back after Christmas but I'm a bit afraid to get another fill because things are getting stuck very easy. any answers out there????

Hi everyone, I just need some prayer, I'm just not getting there as fast as I think I should I was banded may 18th 07 I have had 6 fills and I've only lost about 29 lbs. its been almost 6 months. I'm going back to the Dr. on the 20th he said to come back if I thought I needed another fill. I'm not sure if I do I'm still eating more than I think I should, but lots of things are getting stuck. any answers out there? Have a blessed day LOL.

I went today for my 4th fill so far none have helped I have been on a plato for 6 weeks losing nothing..... I'm trying not to get down about it but it's hard. I hope this one makes a diffrence.

hi, I'm in the same boat as you. I have had 3 fills now and I had gained 2 lbs back when I went to the Dr. last week he said we will keep filling till we get it right. He is only filling a little at a time. But I need help fast. All we can do is hang in there. WILL POWER!!!!!!!! I told the Dr. if I had will power I wouldn't have gotten the band. HA! HA! I think it will get better. Good Luck

I got my first fill on june 29th he gave me 1cc it did nothing for me I'm doing the will power thing also. I go back on the 19th for another fill, I hope this one won't hurt like the first one. I also hope it will help me fill full. good luck to all

hello everyone I've been away too long. I've been working so much and I'm not out of school for summer break until the 16th.But I just wanted to stop in and say hi. I had my first fill on Thurs. It hasen't helped much but I go back in two weeks for another. Pray that this one will. I think they hurt the dr. said it will get better as my skin gets thiner. I had mine done with ins. coverage do you know how much the hosp. charged 47,736.00$ WOW! my part was only 452.00$ God is good!

hello everyone, I had my band a week age today, I prayed for it I had tried every diet under the sun, and I believe the Lord knows that. I started speaking lap band in Sept. as if it were going to happen the next day. I never gave up. Don't forget life and death are in the power of the tounge. so if there is something you want and truly believe you have spoken to the Lord about it speek it!

Well I got home yesterday, I feel great just in a little pain it comes and goes. I Think the worse is over. :clap2:

I band on the 18th only two more days, I start only clear liq. tomorrow till mid night thursday my surg. is at 10:00 yall be praying for me:pray2: . I've done well with the low carbs. but just liq. is gonna be hard.

I get banded on the 18 th and my Dr. had me on a high pro. low carb sence the 1st two days before the band I have to go on clear liqu. and liqu. for 5 weeks after.good luck

don't be worried I have blue cross blue sheild and as long as you do everything they want they won't denie you. Just get all your ducks in a row. good luck!

Good luck I go in on the 18th for mine I had to do all my pre op on the11th just think how great we will feel after we heal. OH and how great we will look this time next year! BEST WISHES AND GOD BLESS

I went to pre-po this morning @10:00 got done @ 2:00 I get banded next Friday,then I can start living again.:dance:

Hi Jet, I can't answer any questions for you I'm going in on the 18 th to have mine done,but the questions you have are ones I think most of us have had. I was down on myself for a long time but just knowing that I have a chance to do something about the extra pounds brings back so much joy in my life. I can do it and so can you! good luck and just know today is the first day of the rest of your life.

Went to the Dr. on the 9th pre-op on the 11th band on the18th, only 8 more days to go.I wish it were today!

I had to go to the DR. every mon. for six mon. before I could even submit anything to the Ins. comp. but each ins. is dif. call them and ask they told me everything I needed to get started. Good Luck
