I confess that I dreaded giving away my bigger clothes to Goodwill cause some still had the tags on. -

I confess that I have eaten Hershey's chocolate miniatures, tortilla chips, salsa and cheddar cheese, have not exercised since July and had 2 alcoholic drinks for the first time in a LONG time and i wonder why my weight has stalled...duhhhhh -
Craving Sugar..WTF!?
Mighty Mo replied to Mighty Mo's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Thank you for your replies ladies, I thought I was the only one. I'm not gonna lie, I've been having Hershey miniatures here and there, higher salt intake, low protein and caloric intake so of course I've been stalling for quite some time now also. My SW was 271 and my CW hovers between 206-210 since my surgery May 20th. I need to get it together and get back on track cause I didn't put my body through all of this trauma to stall or gain. Best of luck to ALL of us:) -
May sleevers! How much have you lost so far?
Mighty Mo replied to mrsplusamericajacksonville's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Sleeved on may 20, 2013 and SW was 271 and now I've been bouncing from 206-210 bc of low caloric intake. Hopefully by upping my protein and calories will help me start losing again. -

Mighty Mo replied to goldybear's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
That's awesome! Positive mind set also helps. The first week is the hardest and it eventually gets easier. You'll be fine and keep me posted or maybe I'll see you at one of the once a month Thursday meetings:) -
Anyone had Dr. Yatco at Lenox Hill/NYC as surgeon?
Mighty Mo replied to goldybear's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I had my surgery with Dr. Edward Yatco on May 20 and have had no complications whatsoever. Great surgeon! Sw was 271 and I am now 206. Up and down between 206-210 but hopefully upping my calories will fix this cause I have been stalling a lot due to a low calorie intake. If you choose him as your surgeon it will be the best decision you have ever made for yourself. Good luck:) -
I just received my blood results and my B12 was elevated-2000 and its supposed to be between 211-946. I've been taking 10,000mcg a day and i'm only supposed to take one a day otherwise the rest of my results were fantastic. I think I'll stop for a couple of weeks and start again at just one a day. I'm such a dummy but I had absolutely no energy since the GS.

Who Was Your Gastric Sleeve Surgeon
Mighty Mo replied to boredswfl's topic in Weight Loss Surgeons & Hospitals
I was sleeved May 20th at Lenox Hill Hospital by Dr. Edward Yatco and haven't had one complication. The only thing I HAVE been experiencing is hair loss which is the norm anyway but otherwise he's a fabulous physician. -
Hello to my fellow sleevers, I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing what I've been for the past two months. I was sleeved May 20th at Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC and for the past two months, I've been CRAVINGGG sugar which is so unlike me because I was more of a steak, potato and cheese kind of girl. Is anyone else going through this?

Hey!! Sleeved may 20 and I've lost 30 pounds so far. I have now hit the dreaded stall for almost a week and a half. It's frustrating but something's got to give. -

Anyone else sleeved Monday may 20

Your body is still swollen so it has to adjust. BM's are a good thing but with very little in our system, there won't be much until we get into regular food. Keep an eye on the incision to make sure there's no oozing or redness. -

Hey good people, I was sleeved at Lenox Hill Hospital May 20 and my doc said 64 ounces of hydration and 8 ounces of protein a day, 4 ounces am, 4 ounces pm for two weeks until my two week post op visit which is june 3rd. Every ones guidelines are different and it's so good to see different ones. -

I was sleeved at Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC. The back and gas pains from them inflating the stomach and anesthesia made me so uncomfortable. i was so swollen. i didn't sleep well until Thursday. The only thing I'm concerned about is that everything is going down TOO easily which worries me. I'm thinking is it tight enough!? I've been drinking water well. I think the pinch i feel is when ive had enough...I think. I've gone from 274-251 since Monday but something tells me I'm drinking too much protein. I also went to Costco and wanted to eat everything I saw. NOT a good day for me emotionally or psychogically yesterday. I need to stay away from the triggers. I will persevere:)
