  1. It has been a 13 months since my sleeve. I stuck to the guidelines my Dr. gave me. I did some (not enough) exercise and have lost 150 lbs. You just have to play by the new rules. Understand what you are told to do, take your Vitamins and keep your Fluid up. Don't waste your time with carbonated drinks. Smartest move I ever made. Did my research for over 2 years. No leg pain, no back pain.

    In my case, (I am adverse to pain) I had pain around the "drain" for the first 24 hrs. My doc was cautious about pain meds and gave what he thought was right. Day 2 was uncomfortable (great after they took out the drain). Then just weak. It's been 31/2 months since my surgery and I'm 85 lbs lighter and don't have the leg pain, knee pain, shortness of breath. It was not fun but sure getting to be more and more worth the few days of discomfort. Hang in there
