My username is jakegirl1 and I'd love to add some friends/support on MFP...add away! -
Funny how people's tastes are so different! I use and enjoy the muscle milks and find the Costco premier shakes not to my liking.

I'm 7 weeks, and I've noticed an improvement in the last week or so. I do find it's worse in the morning...probably cuz I haven't eaten all night. Hang in there...it will hopefully pass soon...and if its continuing to bother you make an appt with a dr. Maybe a new PPI will help.

I experienced this when I first introduced food. It's slowly getting better. Does it hurt or cause discomfort? Or just loud and embarrassing ? If its not causing pain I would think it will probably pass and is your tummy just adjusting. I am on a PPI as well. And sometimes I wonder if it just makes it churn more lol

Wine/champagne When I Would Be Allow To Try?
Jennabelle replied to scorpion509's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was told 6 months... I am 7 weeks and just asked my facilitator this morning. She said my liver is still "stressed" from the surgery. She recommends waiting 6 months. At the earliest 4 months. I cannot wait until I have a drink lol, I'm thinking christmas I will try one lol... If you learn different then what I was told I'd love to hear it!!! lol -
I am by no way an expert but I am under the impression that when falling off the right path there are methods to get back on track. I myself am a newbie so hopefully someone can help shed some light with you. But my facilitator told me that when you hit a rough spot or go on vacation or as life sometimes happen you can always jumpstart the weight loss again by following the preop and post op diet again...I hope that helps. I haven't been thru this yet but can sympathize with you. I couldn't even imagine how upset I would be if I gained weight now or in 2 or even 10 years!!!

1 Month Out And I Stalled Already?
Jennabelle replied to Jenny881's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I too feel your frustration...I went to a support meeting last night and they told me that stalls are common around the one month mark and it is your body adjusting. I lost 20 pounds pre op, my surgery was aug 27, in the first 3 weeks after I lost another 20 pounds and in the last 4 weeks i've only lost 4 pounds. I am happy with the total amount of weight lost but I was told I could expect to lose 2-4 pounds a week. I haven't meant that goal in a month...very frustrated, very disappointed, even wonder if it was worth it??? I am very bad for needing the number on the scale to move!lol I am trying to keep my head up and joined this community yesterday to receive extra encouragement, and talk with others who understand what I am going through. Hang in there...IT WILL PASS>IT HAS TOO lol -
