I'm trying to get an idea of where I might be in five months, where are you at now if you started at 300 and are five seven?

You don't get low blood sugar? I didn't feel hungry but I knew I needed some Protein.

I like Greek yogurt with pb2. I add one or two packets of splenda. You can Chia seeds or baker's cocoa too. I think I ate that every day when I was on pureed.

Although I do have to add there aren't many places where I would want to order from the kid's menu. Also some buffets will let you pay the child's price if you show them the card. I haven't done that yet.

My surgeon gives everyone a card that says something like "this person had bariatric surgery and has a stomach the size of a baby carrot. Please allow him or her to order off the child's menu." And it has all the info about the hospital to make it look official.

Good ideas everyone. This place had hot dogs but I just don't like those kind. I can do turkey dogs or all beef but nasty park hotdogs don't sit well. Bringing protein powder is a good idea.

I'm wondering if breaking my stall wasn't due to freaking hair loss! I'm shedding. I pulled a shirt out of the dryer. I guess I had brushed my hair before I put it in the wash. The whole shirt was covered in tangled and mangled hair. And it was my hair.

Today I went to a small water park. I didn't feel tired the entire time. I actually fit in the inner tube. I was able to walk up and down stairs and didn't feel tired at all. The suit I had last summer was super loose. I need a new one. I could really tell my chest has shrunk. When I got out of the water that part of the suit looked like a deflated balloon.

I meet my protein goals, take vitamins every day and take biotin. It's just coming out like crazy but I can't see a difference thankfully.

I have to say, there's a place I go to for urgent care. They always congratulate me on the surgery and my loss and they aren't even my PCP! Find a new doctor. They should at least ask you about complications.

I'm also wondering if the YMCA couldn't be brought into it. I don't know how you would make money at it though. They have a program for cancer survivors, you would think they could have programs for people who had WLS too.

You mean before surgery? I had bigger fish to fry!

I like that one I've been thinking about writing a book after I hit goal. I was raised in an abusive family and had an abusive marriage unfortunately. I just don't know if a book is enough! I don't know if I'm willing to put myself out there, you know?

I really wish I could work with people who have been abused and are overweight or obese, and help them get their power and self esteem back.

Do you mind if we share with other WLS forums?

It takes time. It's summer and people are on vacation and out doing other things. We have binders with different topics for every month.

Well there were only two of us but we had a fabulous time!

Who is going?

How is it working at 100%? Your stomach is making you hungry when you don't need to eat and umis allowing you to over eat. That's not working.... I can gulp down Water and I'm at 12 weeks out. I feel like. I have a new normal. I waste a lot of food at restaurants but its not my fault that portions are sized for four or five people. It depends on what your definition of normal is. Is it normal to be in pain, to have your mobility limited, to have multiple diseases and die early?

I think we all know people, even ourselves, who ate right and exercised and could never keep the weight off. I don't think that obese people should be discriminated against. I think that everyone should be treated the same. But to say that its wrong for people to try to lose weight is just crazy. I was surfing through a lot of fat acceptance and HAES blogs, and there's a lot of crazy there. There's also a lot of people who are just tired of fighting and tired of not losing and have given up. Hey surgery isn't for everyone. We all have choices to make. If someone prefers to stay obese and just accept it rather than have surgery who am I to judge? It's the black and white thinkers who I think are stuck in Cray Cray.

It's not like I care that they didn't talk to me before, I am not a social butterfly type. But why suddenly decide to talk to me? I want to say go away.
