I used to drink diet Pepsi every day. I don't miss it one bit. -

How far out are you? -
Theres a reason why they are single. From what I've heard POF is mostly a hookup site. But I know people who found someone on there too.

Hey what if they are wonderful guys who have no other pics of themselves? I know it looks gross but woukd you reject a guy because he likes to fish? I say give them a chance. Same thing with the bikes. It's better than a bathroom selfie or a deer in headlights webcam shot!

I hated eharmony. If it's not working try something else.

You need omiprezole. Something serious. My surgeon has us taking it for six months. If that doesn't work call your surgeon. Also all the cold stuff might be irritating your stomach.

My surgeon says one cup of coffee a day is fine. That's all I have. I am off carbonation and alcohol. He doesn't want us drinking for a year. I don't think I will drink until I hit goal. -
Are you taking an acid reducer?

I love these stories! I didn't have issues with attracting men after my first marriage went south. In fact I had some friends of my ex asking me out before we were divorced. I said no to most of them. I found that everyone has their type and honestly I knew deep down I was going to lose weight come hell or high Water so I really didn't want to date anyone who wasn't on the same path to health. I did have some funny experiences with online dating. I used to have younger men contact me on MySpace asking me out. No idea why, they were like ten years younger than me. I just said no. And I met my husband online. I actually didn't want to wait to long to meet because I was afraid we would build it up and then something might be off when we met in person. I didn't want to waste time and get hurt. We got engaged six months after our first date. I wish I could be a matchmaker and help everyone find love.

I think some people don't realize how big they are until they lose. Some people think they are way bigger than they are, and some people are just living life like a funhouse mirror. Like one day you think you look great and the next you think you look immense. I dont think women should be referring to themselves that way at all. There's always someone who finds you attractive. I bet you are really cute! Sorry they were hurtful to you. I bet they weren't even thinking about you at all.

Wait I thought wings were dark meat. They aren't?
-
I thought it was kind of funny. I think I got my mojo back. Now I can give my hot hubby the attention he deserves.
-
Apparently it was in my stomach. I used to be very high libido. We have had sex once in five weeks! And I don't miss it! I don't feel like I have any drive at all. We used to do it two or three times a week. My husband is very patient thankfully. I am scared it's never going to come back!
-
What? I think there is more fat in wing meat than in breast meat. But breast meat is a lot drier and my surgeon even told me to eat dark meat first. Good for you. Isn't it funny how such a small amount of food likes an accomplishment?

Weight Loss Surgery May Reverse Signs Of Aging
greensleeve replied to gamergirl's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
That's great. I do notice so many people look younger in their after pictures. I have looked and looked trying to figure it out. It isn't just the clothes, the make up and hair. They just seem to glow more! -

200? Wow that's crazy. Good luck. I think my husband might like it but he might say like he wished I were more naked? lol

When did you try salad?
greensleeve replied to Sleeveless in seattle's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm at six weeks and I just had salad for the first time yesterday. Before that I did eat cucumbers raw but I figure they are soft. Yesterday I had cucumbers, spinach leaves and carrots and I was fine. I never thought I would miss salad but I did. I have yet to try red peppers, they seem to always be a mess in my stomach before surgery so I can't imagine what they would be like after! -
Did you give them to your hubby yet? I'm thinking about doing it, maybe just doing pin up type after I get to goal. They turned out great!
-
That's awesome! Good for you! My h and I have always had a crazy good sex life. I'm lucky to have a very talented man, but things are somehow even better now! Enjoy it!

So sad. worked so hard
greensleeve replied to jdillon's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had it big time today. I just wanted to eat because food was there, not because I needed nutrition. -

I lost thirty pounds with WW three years ago and gained it all back plus 35 pounds. I know how it feels. We know how to lose but we can't keep it off. It's why we need surgery. Our hunger hormones go into high gear after we lose weight. Try not to beat yourself up. -

3 weeks post op and Stressed
greensleeve replied to Ready2tryagain's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It gets much better. The third week was the hardest for me.I don't know how people go to work so quickly. No wonder you are tired, your stomach is still healing and your body uses a lot of energy to heal. Hang in there. I'm almost at six weeks and I feel much different. It takes time for your body to heal, but it seemed like everyday it was a little easier to eat and drink. I would try Gatorade 2, that way you get electrolytes too. -
Well I got it back, yay.
