Thank you - I shall certainly be looking this up!

Congrats! its a great feeling isn't it? I used to be the same - I had corner bath for years, and dreaded being in a tub when in hotels etc... moved to a new home and have a 'normal' bath - but now I'm 15 month in, I can fit in the tub without a problem - and love having baths now - just as well, as we don't have a shower here.. lol
Enjoy your bath products

Omeprazole is what I take too, have been since surgery almost 15 months ago - if I miss a day, I know about it!

Thanks for the tip - I will look these up

I did, and it was horrendous. I believe it was the antibiotics that I got in the hospital that set it off, and of course being diabetic doesn't help. In my experience sometimes the one day treatment doesn't work - I've had to get something even stronger from the doctor before - but you could try the pessary, that gets right to the source, if you see what I mean, and has helped too - also live yogurt put on a pad and left overnight can ease things.

Up until today I'd never heard of the fitbit! I've had a look online and can see the fitbit flex and some other devices, but not the force - what is the difference between them?

I'm over a year out, so this probably doesn't apply, but I know that I burp when my tummy is saying it has had enough.. I'd agree with it being just the air from sipping all the time.

I've been taking Biotin since before surgery14 months ago, and silica for about a year - I still have a bit of shedding at the sides, but overall my hair is growing longer - downside is I'm also getting more facial and even chest hair (where it wasn't before!)... I use thickening shampoos and conditioners and products, which help the overall effect... I do think its a wait it out sort of thing, but if I had my time over, I'd still take the biotin for sure! Good luck x

Oh, I'm having pain in my shoulders and tops of my arms, especially when I waken up - I tend to sleep with my hands underneath the pillow....
-
I have this issue too - sitting in the car for anything longer than 15 mins is painful!

As one replier said, no doubt you have some loose skin - like most of us here... I think that you need to just listen to your own heart and take it one day at a time. You do look fine to me though, for what its worth

I'm like you - my sleeve doesn't like dry chicken, potatoes (unless well mashed), rice, and I've never tried bread or bread type products as I don't want to go down that route - would end up eating way too much of it... too much sugary products (more than a couple spoons) gives me the sweats too..

Strange you should say this - I went the whole day (stupidly) without eating anything - so it had been like 24 hours since I ate anything - I was drinking though - but I seemed to get full a lot more quickly than I usually would... uncomfortably so even..

Have you been checked for diabetes recently?

I'm 14 months out and still take prescription meds for anti-sickness daily... too scared to stop taking them and the doc seems to think its fine too...

I'm 13 months out and seem to have evened out at twice a week now - and if I don't take a stool softener, boy does it hurt..

Tomorrow is another day Hope you have an awesome time with your family. yeah, cooking for everyone else and not being able to eat any of it is a revelation in itself... have fun though, and think of it as a new way of life - as it is.. x

I had to wait 6 years for my surgery - the wait seems endless... so feel for you with the clothes buying.. but soon the wait will be over, and it WILL all be worth it. Hang in there

I'm down a size and regular instead of wide... I even bought a kids pair last week! its a great feeling - and to think that I thought that shoes were the only thing I could buy before that were 'normal' and now I'm even growing out of all the ones I had, in the right direction
